Senior Sales Engineer, Carrier, Abu Dhabi, UAE

Prerequisites include:

1. Engineering degree.

2. Masterful command of basic software such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.

3. Driver’s License in UAE .

4.Experience in technical sales of air-conditioning equipment including but not limited to ducted split units, air-handling units, packaged units and VRF units.

Job Description:

Complete account management of assigned customers.

Generating inquiries for the supply of air conditioning equipment, through market visits to contractors, consultants, retailers, dealers and distributors.

Ensuring assigned customers are periodically updated on the latest software, catalogs and information from Carrier wherever applicable (in coordination with the Application Engineering Team).

Creating quotations in-line with the inquiry specifications.

Through inquiries and quotations, generate a robust pipeline with routine updates and follow up in coordination with their line manager.

Technical submittals and compliance statements.

Order finalizations (with line manager).

Delivery and invoice generation (with sales coordinators).

Payment follow up and collection.

Credit assessment.

Warranty coordination.

Submit monthly forecast pack to include pipeline update, sales and bookings for the month and quarter, and risks and opportunities.

Resolve customer issues promptly and provide technical assistance and support in liaison with other teams.

About the Role:

To manage and coordinate all supermarket development projects through all phases of design, permissions and construction. Provides leadership and oversight for site level project management function. Operates with independently with minimal supervision as the principal project representative, but reporting back internally on material issues and potential changes in project direction or circumstance.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensures assigned projects are completed within budgets and schedules while meeting owner / franchisor / stakeholder needs, business objectives and design guidelines.

In cooperation with Senior Management team, develops program and annual budget for the projects.

Prepares detailed construction cost estimates and documentation for project funding authorization. Is responsible for interfacing with appropriate levels of management to obtain funding approval signatures. Explanation of project scope and the associated costs as required is part of this process.

Works cooperatively with and ensures that projects team work cooperatively with the appropriate stakeholders and project client to clarify specific needs and requirements and keeps client and appropriate Client Service Director up-to-date on project status throughout process.

Manages efforts of other corporate support functions such as Legal, Insurance and Loss Prevention, OAA, Security, and Systems.

Participate in or oversee the pre-qualification and bid evaluation process for consultants, contractors, and other outside vendors and selects vendors.

Interacts with governmental branches and regulatory agencies as required to ensure that projects comply with all applicable legal requirements and regulations.

Initiate Procurement requests for Store Assets.

What you bring

Solid experience in recruiting of healthcare professionals. If you have a clinical background, even better.

People management experience a plus.

Fluent English

Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint).
