Job Summary

The role of the PREFABRICATION SUPERVISOR is to supervise the execution of prefabrication works, both performed by subcontractors or in direct hiring, verifying that works are correctly carried out in accordance with project documentation and in the planned time frame. He/ She will support the prefabrication activities (structural, piping) and the assembly of elementary parts to be released for the erection activities.

Education and Experience

At least 5 years of previous experience in a similar position
Proficiency in English

CORE WORK ACTIVITIES

Promote safe works practices and environmental protection, ensuring that safety standards are respected
Ensure the fulfilment of the project quality and contractual requirements
Verify and confirm the availability of drawings, materials and equipment to plan the efficient execution of the works performed by subcontractors or by assigned direct hiring personnel
Prepare and coordinate the detailed programs for the assigned activities
Coordinate the interfaces with erection activities
Coordinate human and technical resources assigned, indicating any needs or surplus
Coordinate subcontractors involved in prefabrication stages
Assist subcontractors or direct hiring personnel for the correct interpretation of the drawings, providing support in the solution of technical problems
Supervise the execution of prefabrication workshop activities involving the employment of machinery/ tools
Supervise the execution of prefabrication workshop fit-up and welding activities, checking that non-destructive controls are carried out and released before painting
Verify that works are correctly carried out in accordance with the project specifications, highlighting any engineering problems encountered in the field
Measure the progress of the works carried out
Provide quantitative data for producing weekly progress reports, monitoring the employed manpower
Ensure the continuous assessment of the quantities installed
Organize working area based on assigned activities to improve HSE and overall efficiency

Location: UAE, Abu Dhabi (Site)

Contract duration: full time

Working schedule: 10hr/ 6 days or 12hr/ 7 days (depending on the project)

The role of the HSE Auditor is to carry out HSE Internal Audits as per the approved HSE audit plan for our network of schools. The HSE Auditor will also conduct special reviews and assignments as requested by the Head of HSE.

Key Accountabilities are:

Performance of Full Scope Audit, Special Review engagements & Independent Audits.

Carry out audits as per the Approved HSE audit Plan covering all areas related to the auditee and completion of the assignment within the stipulated time frame.

Lead an Audit and conduct audits based on risk assessment within agreed timelines

Review of Internal Controls

To verify and report ineffective internal controls, including policies & procedures, and suggest alternate procedures for better efficiency and control.

Prepare analysis and trends from audit reports for review and further action.
To prepare the pending Critical and Major risk action items as and when required by the Head of HSE.

Job Purpose

To execute, monitor and follow up on Quality Assurance audit plans and reviews and surveillance as directed by “Quality Assurance Manager”.
