Senior Project Manager, Compass Project Consulting, Gul Talent, Dubai, UAE

Employment: Full Time

To lead projects from concept stage through to operational handover stage to deliver the project/s to the satisfaction of Clients and Compass Partners, within budget, within programme, in accordance with the brief and in accordance with authority requirements.

You shall ensure that the client’s design brief is clear and comprehensive. You shall monitor the performance of the designers to ensure that the brief is effectively implemented and that timeframes are achieved.
You shall ensure that the design is correctly developed and that is passes through the required approval stages before finally being issued for construction.

Experience

Previous UAE senior management experience in the design and construction and management of commercial, retail or F&B construction projects is required.

Qualifications/Skills

A property or construction related degree is required. PMP certification will be highly regarded.

Parsons is now hiring a Senior ITS Engineer who works on infrastructure projects that change the fabric of our community.

Responsibilities:
The Senior Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) Engineer is responsible for carrying out and lead the review and design of ITS and Communications systems equipment, Central System , and infrastructure for roads, urban, and Expressways projects in accordance with international and Local standards, specifications, and procedures.

The Senior Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) Engineer is responsible for carrying out and Lead the review and design of Traffic Control Systems for Signalized Junctions.
The Senior Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) Engineer is responsible for carrying out and lead the review and design of CCTV Camera Systems.
Completes a wide variety of difficult engineering assignments, applying engineering techniques and analyses within one discipline. The Engineer at this level is a fully qualified professional, proficient in the utilization of most engineering theories and practices.
Performs complex engineering tasks and particularly important engineering work efficiently and accurately.
Prepares and issues specifications, data sheets, and other construction documents.
Providing ITS advice and guidance into various road and highway infrastructure projects.
Carrying out studies for the implementation and operation of ITS Applications.
Coordination with Clients and other disciplines.
Performs all required responsibilities and duties associated with this position as may be appropriate.

Qualifications/Skills Required:

BSc Degree in Telecommunications/Computer/Electronics/Electrical Engineering, MSc Degree would be a plus
Chartered Engineer (C.Eng.) or Professional Engineer (PE) would be a plus
Minimum 10+ years post graduate experience in Design of Intelligent Transportation System (ITS), Communications systems, and CCTV systems
Experience in the design and operation of ITS infrastructure
Experience in the design of Urban Traffic Control Systems (TCS)
Experience in the design of CCTV System
In depth knowledge of ITS, TCS, and CCTV Local and International design standards and procedures
Experience in the operation and maintenance requirements of ITS infrastructure
Experience with electronics and telecommunications systems as related to ITS, TCS, and CCTV
Knowledge of computer software applications related to ITS, and CCTV
Candidate with prior local experience with Consultants
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Excellent Presentation skills
Excellent Time and Work load management skills.

Overview of the role

To assist the Service Advisors while receiving Advanced General Repair (AGR) vehicles by interacting with customers, confirming the symptoms by interviewing, observing and road testing along with the customers. Ensure that all the diagnostic tools and equipment are available, updated and maintained as per distributor tool list and guidelines.
Ensure ongoing audit of tools and equipment to ensure optimal efficiency in the workplace

Required skills to be successful

Experienced and certified Diagnostics Master Technician (DMT)
At least 5 years’ recent experience in the automotive dealership as a Workshop Supervisor, Controller or Foreman
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Automotive Diploma
Ability to write technical reports

About the team

The Technical Advisor role will report to the Workshop Manager. This role is specifically designed to interact with customer that experience technical issues. You will collaborate with other Divisions and other branches to maximize overall business benefits. You will also have daily interaction with internal stakeholders such as Aftersales Manager, Retail Service Manager, Workshop Manager & Service Advisors to monitor & evaluate quality performance against set standards.

About the Role

Mott MacDonald Middle East is looking to continue to build its Clean Growth and Energy Transformation team with Green Hydrogen (H2) and Ammonia Technical Specialist to support the delivery of projects in this domain.

As a Process Engineer for Energy Transition, you will be required to act as the Senior Consultant on relevant projects, while driving the technical delivery with the wider team based locally and globally.

Our ideal candidate is a proactive individual who have a passion for and some experience in areas related to energy transition, Hydrogen, CCUS, power to gas and a good understanding of the H2 and CCUS value chain – clients, suppliers, prospective partners, technologies, digitalisation, key market players, regional trends in various middle eastern territories and various national policies, net zero strategies. Candidates who have a background in other areas of energy but show a desire and aptitude for becoming involved in H2 and CCUS will also be considered but will need to commit to a training/mentoring program to gain the necessary knowledge.

Key responsibilities and duties are listed, but not limited to, the below:

Support project delivery across relevant technical teams; (e.g., ammonia specialists, renewable energy specialists, RO-desal experts etc);
