This role will assist the senior management with the decision-making process by developing Kitchen business cases across the MENA region, developing business rationales to support growth in new areas and markets, and expanding Cloud kitchens’ product offerings across the region.

What's On Your Plate?

Assist senior management with the decision-making process by developing Kitchen business cases, across the MENA region
Liaise with different stakeholders internally (MDs, Construction, Operations, and Commercial departments) and externally (Real estate agents, suppliers, etc.) to develop the business cases
Develop business rationales to support growth in new areas and markets and to expand Cloud kitchens’ product offerings across the region
Develop business rationales to support alternative financing, where applicable
Support to identify and lead a variety of new strategic and high-impact engagements focused on creating new revenue streams and enhancing customer experience.
Develop perspectives on business model modifications (e.g. logistics, construction models, etc.)
Identify and engage with interested investors in our developer franchising model
Lead the business planning and budgeting process
Ensure the communication with partners pre-kitchen opening

What Did We Order?

5+ years of experience in project management
Expertise in Cloud Kitchen, Food delivery, or F&B is a must
Relevant educational background in a finance/business-related field
Detail-oriented, structured, and knowing how to prioritize -- you consider yourself as someone who delivers solutions and not bottlenecks to be solved
Proactive with high levels of ownership
Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)
Ability to interact with senior-level executives and can manage the expectations of multiple stakeholders

Key Responsibilities:

Provide assigned project cost budgets including material, manpower and equipment/material costs, subcontracts, third party services and financial cost etcetera.
Coordinate with the project engineers to clarify any query/discrepancies. Assist in the identification and
mitigation of project risks.
Prepare cost reports on a periodic basis on the status of the costs incurred and the variations of the
budgeted v/s actual in consultation with supervisor/Project Manager.
Monitor costs and generate variance reports as and when required and forward to the Supervisor/Project
Manager for his perusal.
Workout forecast for various line items of the cost report in consultation with project team members.
Carry out assessment of potential variations/claims from sub-contractors/vendors.
Assist Project Engineers in preparing additional cost analysis as deemed necessary.
Participate in project review meetings, if required and provide any cost related data as and when required.
Interface and provide clarification to the project engineers and Accounts and provide assistance wherever
required.
Propose new suggestion if any and keep improving/updating the process of effective cost control.
Develop historical Cost database of a project for future reference.
Provide training and guidance to new/junior Cost Control personnel.

Essential Skills:

Graduates with Minimum 10 years experience in cost control preferably from the engineering background.
Good interpersonal skills and costing Knowledge is mandatory.

About the Role

Managers in Strategy& are typically high achievers with an Undergraduate or a Master’s degree and an exceptional academic record. MBA from a top university is an added advantage.
