PURPOSE

You will provide mechanical engineering services to Worley and its customers, including technical support and supervision within the mechanical engineering team.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES 
•    Deliver mechanical engineering services that meet Worley', its customers' and applicable statutory and regulatory specifications, on time and within budget.
•    Initiate, manage and if required supervise mechanical engineering project requirements.
•    Perform mechanical engineering services such as:
o    participate in relevant meetings, prepare progress reports and follow required checking procedures;
o    ensure the project scope is clear and that changes comply with project change management processes;
o    provide assistance and advice during procurement, construction and commissioning activities.  For example, write requisitions, conduct technical bid evaluations and write purchase orders. 
•    If required, act as the mechanical engineering Lead on specific projects.
•    If responsible for a team:
o    outline project requirements including actively promoting workshare, where appropriate, assign tasks and supervise progress;and
o    ensure the required services meet Worley,its customers and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements, on time and within budget. 
•    Proactively resolve any discrepancies between Worley and its Customer's requirements.
•    Keep up-to-date with the latest developments and technical innovations in mechanical engineering.
•    If required, assist and support junior personnel within the mechanical engineering team.
•    Communicate effectively with the mechanical engineering team and project stakeholders, including the Customer.
•    Identify issues and problems, develop appropriate solutions, and ask for assistance when required.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
 
Technical and Industry Experience  
•    Highly effective technical and practical engineering skills and ability to consistently deliver quality, accurate and timely work to Worley and its customers.
•    A sound knowledge of the fundamental requirements of the mechanical engineering, and the basic requirements of other engineering fields.
•    A sound knowledge of applicable local and international standards and statutory and regulatory requirements.
•    Competent use of mechanical engineering specific software.
•    Competent use of relevant software such as MS Office Suite.
•    Substantial technical land practical experience in mechanical engineering in the same or similar industry including experience in working in multi-disciplinary projects and teams. 

Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training
 
Required:
•    A recognised and relevant engineering degree.
Preferred:
•    Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status.
•    Relevant postgraduate qualifications in engineering, management, project management or supervisory qualifications or equivalent

Job Summary
Responsible for logistics activities within a factory and drive cost reduction, service levels, effective utilization of warehouse and logistics activities. Implement Cluster priorities and initiatives in the factory logistics areas.

What you will do
Drive factory daily logistics operations:
Ensure goods receipts from suppliers and deliveries to customer: resolve issues that might arise with deliveries (in/out) at warehouse / port / customs / transportation company: administer and manage documentation for all goods in/out of factory (e.g., invoices, customs documentation)
Implement and lead a good warehouse, transportation and logistics resource management in the factory (and outsourced if any)
Ensure correct and timely reporting of KPIs (incl., costs, payload, PDII) for all metrics concerning the factory, inclusive all the way to final destination on the DOs
Actively manage the factory logistics team (e.g., performance management, individual development).
Operational logistics optimization :
Drive the expansion of WCM to attack Logistics losses (both in costs and service level) impacting the factory, involving other stakeholders as needed (e.g., CSRs, Supplier Management, carriers, …).
Lead factory logistics, working with Customer Service and Design, to optimize internal and outsourced resources to maximize short and mid term  capacity utilization and efficient usage of working capital
Work with Planning and Customer Service to ensure proper inventory  management (e.g., inventory reduction, eliminate scraping)
Secure logistics quality of service towards customers, incl. claim and complaints management / root cause analysis / eradication.
Tactical logistics management :
Proactively identify improvement opportunities and drive logistics activities at factory level for lowest possible total logistics cost (inbound, outbound, warehousing and customs duties) and improved service level.
Manage factory logistics suppliers / contracts (e.g., with transportation companies, forwarding agents, warehouses if any) in collaboration with supplier management
Support Planning, Customer Service and Design for end to end SC performance improvement.
We believe you have
At least 5 years operational experience in the area of expertise
People coordination experience (eg. from being in a senior specialist role)
Project Management skills and experience.
Good stakeholder management skills.
Working knowledge of SAP / other well-known ERP tools
Good communication skills in English & Arabic
Well versed in MS Office, knowledge of PowerBI will be a plus

Disrupts the mindset of customers by bringing innovative ideas that showcase the need for change and new strategic direction. Is sought out by the customer for guidance related to transformation. Proactively involves corporate resources and engages cross-industry resources to drive customer transformation. Ensures line-of-business wins are captured (e.g., customer write ups) as reference for scale.
Account Management

Develops and oversees the execution of account plans for multiple accounts and works to ensure engagements yield high volume sales for both Microsoft and the customer that are on track with goals, budgets, and forecasts. Leads multiple, diverse and high-performing teams and coordinates with internal industry experts on account planning and execution for various accounts. Coordinates with industry experts to identify new business opportunities and drive account growth. Leads extended team and embraces partners to scale business by understanding partner goals and creating an interested in mutual business growth. Ensures sales consumption and adoption goals on target. Leverages strong sales acumen to set action items and approach to drive big bets and drive new business opportunities based on customer strategy and priorities.
Thinks strategically about account planning for assigned accounts, setting standards and priorities, outlining where to and how to invest resources of the account management team and other stakeholders, engaging internal and external decision makers on long-term business planning, and anticipating needs of assigned accounts to turn enterprise accounts into strategic accounts. Influences to scale strategic plans and involves senior leadership team.
Oversees a complex/multiple account(s) and leads planning and prioritization efforts to anticipate and ensure appropriate responses to account needs. Develops strategies to manage pipeline and meet sales goals by reviewing forecasts, assessing and mitigating risks, and ensuring strategy alignment with business priorities. Leads virtual teams to properly re-adjust priorities, all while maintaining a high level of commitment and accountability. Prioritizes line of business projects to achieve business outcomes. Reduces complexity for the customer and for internal teams by prioritizing the most strategic partners to deliver outcomes.

Actively seeks customer feedback (both formal and informal) of assigned accounts regarding ways to identify and understand the drivers of satisfaction and/or dissatisfaction. Helps in the creation of long-term strategies aimed at maintaining levels of customer satisfaction. Orchestrates others (e.g., Technical Account Managers [TAMs]) to anticipate issues/risks on customer satisfaction, determine the root cause of problems, remove blockers, and establish recovery action plan to improve customer's overall experience. Develops and implements plans for maximizing upselling/cross-selling opportunities in certain accounts. About the role:

Accountable for the 24/7 planning and delivery of all aspects of the Catering Services operation worldwide.   • Develops and leads the relationship with all suppliers, in relation to the processes and procedures, with the global airport management team as a key part of the turnaround process at airports worldwide.
  • Leads caterer Business Continuity and operational contingency planning and execution to maintain operations during disruption and represents Catering Services on corporate safety boards and in security / safety reviews.

Qualifications

About you:

  • An ideal candidate will have a minimum of High School / Vocational Qualification and 12 years of job-related experience or Bachelor’s Degree and 10 years of job-related experience.
  • Working in an operational role within large multi-cultural operational teams preferably within airlines/airline catering
  • Experience of working at a senior level in an operational / semi-operational environment.
  • Very good command of English language.
  • High level of computer literacy especially in regard to MS Excel
  • High level written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills'
  • Ability to cope with a high degree of ambiguity and change.
  • Experience of managing an absentee team and suppliers
  • Managerial skills - Ability to delegate work, set clear direction and manage workflow. Strong mentoring and coaching skills. Ability to train and develop subordinate's skills. Ability to foster teamwork among team members.
Preferred
  • Experience of working for an airline caterer.
  • In depth knowledge of global catering operations and suppliers.
  • Arabic language skills
  • Performance Management background.

Primary purpose of job

Act as single point of responsibility for all assigned aspects of NGL-5 Project. Supports the Project Manager in providing

Project Management service throughout the life cycle of NGL-5 project in accordance with the appropriate engineering,

safety, quality and environment standards to achieve project objectives, meeting specification within time and cost leading

to effective completion from concept through to commissioning and handover.

Experience & Skills

Eighteen (18) years minimum relevant experience of which twelve (12) years in oil & gas industry and minimum five (5)

years in managing Teams or similar position.

Experience managing projects as the client/owner, preferably with an IOC.

Demonstrated experience of managing high complexity projects from inception to commissioning and handover.

Experience with managing projects requiring strict government regulatory approvals and demonstrated record of

accomplishment of compliance.

Experience of NGL/Refinery projects involving licensed technologies.

Can demonstrate a “skilled” practitioner level in the following proficiencies: Manage Project Initiation Activities, Manage

Feasibility Studies, Manage Concept Optimisation Activities, Manage Engineering Definition Activities, Coordinate

Operational Requirements and philosophies into the Project, Manage Construction Activities, Manage Operational

Readiness and Assurance Process including Commissioning and Start-up, Handover and Close Out the project, Set up

and Manage Project Teams, Develop Project Execution Strategies and Plans, Management of Change (MOC), Manage

and Communicate Project Performance, Implement Lessons learnt & Participate in Audits and Reviews, Understand and

Manage the Schedule and Resource the Plan, Develop WBS Schedule with Planning Department, Manage Project Cost

and Budget, Develop WBS / CBS with Cost Department, Support and Manage Cost Estimate Development and

communication, Manage Contracts including Changes and Variations, Understand and Manage GCOC's, Provide

Leadership in HSE Management.

Can demonstrate a ”mastery” practitioner level in the following proficiencies: Manage Project Interfaces, Identify and

Manage Project Risks, Manage Contractor Claims and Resolution, Demonstrate Empowering and Inspirational Leadership,

Demonstrate Ethics, Compliance and Professionalism

Effective communication and team building skills including report writing, presentations and management of meetings.

Education

1. B.Sc. Degree in an Engineering discipline from a recognized University; higher degree would be advantageous.

2. Membership in a recognized professional engineering and/or project management association/institution would be an

advantage.
