Job Purpose: 

This role is responsible for supporting the IR function in the execution of the IR program and reporting requirements.

Accountabilities:

Handling the Sustainability report coordination and content development.
Manage the relationship with international ESG analysts and follow up on the Bank’s ratings.
Lead on international index analysis and inclusion.
Lead on internal engagement initiatives including IR newsletter and other HR-IR related issues.
Assist in the organization of the AGM
Support on development of financial press releases.
Lead on IR website content and improvements.
Support on other IR program  
Handling other new initiatives and support reporting.
Follow up on translation of important documents including press releases quarterly earning calls script and annual report.

Leadership & People Management: Exhibit strong leadership by managing performance, developing and motivating staff
Policies & Procedures: Recommend improvements to departmental policy and direct the implementation of procedures

Qualifications
 
Education/Knowledge/Experience/Skills:

Education / Qualifications: University degree in Finance or accounting from a recognized university. Special certifications is a plus
Knowledge: Finance, accounting, regulatory environment
 Experience: 7-10 years in the field of IR or investment or research.
Accreditation / Licensing: IR Officer, CFA

Fluent in English & Arabic
Excellent writing communication & presentation skills

Ensure stock availability for all listed SKUs in all E Commerce customers.

Job Description

The Gas Power Kuwait Learning Center (KLC) Training Manager will lead the training team at the KLC to manage the delivery of technical training for our internal teams (Field Engineers, Craft, Repairs, On Site Services-OSS, Operations & Maintenance- O&M, Project Managers- PMO, & Contract Managers- CPM/CSL) and external customers.  This role will partner with the various parts of the business (FieldCore, Regions, OSS, Steam Power, Aero, Repairs, PMO, & O&M) to deliver with the right resourcing and content, while providing a safe and effective learning environment. This role will partner with the GE Power training product leaders and project managers on all appropriate training solutions and will manage all operational aspects of the KLC including EHS compliance.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Lead the Gas Power Training team at the Kuwait Learning Center
  • Lead the execution and development of Gas Power training for GE in the MEA Region
  • Manage and support regional instructors
  • Lead EHS compliance and proactive safety initiatives for the Gas Power Training at the Kuwait Learning Center
  • Manage Kuwait Learning Center and its readiness to support training
  • Work closely with the product line leaders, project managers and business leaders to ensure training meets the needs of the customer
  • Maintain financial reporting and systems (PowerMax, ERP, etc.)
  • Support customer training commercial offerings including the development of training proposals and scopes
  • Aggressively manage cost and productivity for training programs and courses
  • Lead internal and external resources responsible for development of curricula, training delivery
  • Lead programs and processes aligned with global business needs including identification, development, and delivery of training programs
  • Integrate training initiatives across the business

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college or equivalent experience in Power Generation Industry
  • Min 5 years of Operations experience (i.e., Services, Engineering, Commercial) in Power Generation or Oil & Energy
  • Experience managing large, complex programs and budgets
  • Demonstrated passion for employee learning
  • Proven Customer Centric Mindset
  • Ability to influence and gain commitment at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to communicate orally and written in English

About the role

As the Lead Product Manager, you will be responsible to drive the digital direct revenue growth through implementing a product roadmap and lead solution initiatives to deliver best-in-class digital commerce tools.   • Regularly review competing travel service provider offerings and best practices, as well as latest technology developments to identify new opportunities

Operational  Accountabilities

  • Plan and organize user testing, feedback sessions and A/B tests to determine the ideal way to present features or offers and eliminate usability issues
  • Regularly review product Key Results in order to meet Digital Commerce Product objectives
  • Ensure relevant digital product pods are equipped to deliver by identifying and eliminating blockers, providing guidance, funding and support
  • Lead refinement sessions to trim, clean and update backlog and to ensure product team understand backlog impact and contribution

Management & Leadership Accountabilities

  • Establish the department or teams objectives and priorities to align with and support business objectives.
  • Regularly evaluate the department or teams objectives, plans, procedures and practices, and makes appropriate changes if needed.
  • Oversee and supervise employees.  Direct daily activities, recruit, train, develop and discipline to ensure a high standard of service delivery. 
  • Train and develop other employees, to ensure succession planning is in place.

  11. Record and investigate incidents to determine causes and handle worker's compensation claims
  12. Generation of regular reports to the management on the effectiveness of the QHSE systems
  13. Undertake a daily Toolbox Talk with site and workshop assigned personnel and ensure that records are maintained of the talks
  14. Ensuring internal audit results are placed periodically.
  15. Collect and analyze Customer feedback.
  16. Liaison with customers and preparation of Inspection and Test Plans
  17. Assist Supervisors in delivering Pre-Task Briefings to the workforce on the control measures identified in risk assessments and the safe system of work to be adhered to
  18. Report immediately to the QHSE /Geomarket Manager any serious safety breaches that place workers in life-threatening situations
  19. Audit the registers and permit systems maintained for lifting equipment, lifting accessories, excavations, confined spaces, hot works, Lock-out/Tag-out, etc
  20. Provide weekly input of H&S statistics and data
  21. Review subcontractor Health & Safety plans
  22. Report and document the activities carried out in line with the documentation requirements of the company
  23. Prepare reports on investigations.
  24. To establish a safe workplace according to legal standards and foster a culture of attention to health and safety
  25. Ensure all transactions are carried out in compliance with the applicable standards, Company Quality (ISO) procedures and provide advice to the Management / Department of any non-conformance issues
  26. Follow necessary safety regulations, applicable work instructions, operating procedures, method statements, etc. as required, in carrying out the jobs.
  27. Implementation of use of proper PPEs, spares, tools, equipment and accessories.
  28. Collate all the Reported incidents, accidents, near-misses, unsafe conditions and acts to the supervisors/QHSE Manager
  29. Comply with all occupational health, safety and environmental procedures of both the company and of client while working.
  30. In addition, shall also support the activities of the other units whenever requested.
  31. Other duties associated with successful development of the unit.
  32. Ensure all Gates Quality standards are being adhered to.
Required Experience:
  1. Functions as an Individual contributor 
  2. Two years of related experience in QHSE activities
  3. Certificate in occupational health and safety
  4. Certified NDT Level II & Welding CSWIP level 3.1 or Equivalent
  5. A demonstrable capacity to keep abreast of new technology QHSE trends and how they would apply to real world projects. 
  6. Ability to communicate openly, honestly and constructively and treat all customers and coworkers with dignity and respect. 
  7. Ability to work on offshore/onshore site for extended periods of time and do site visits. 
  8. Ability to work well in a team environment.
  9. Ability to perform internal and external QHSE audits and coordinate for all third-party audits
  10. Ability to plan, schedule and prioritize the activities.
  11. Ability to create comprehensive and unambiguous procedures and reports
  12. Ability to input and extract data from, ERP and Orion Systems
  13. Commitment to continuous improvement in Quality, Health, Safety and the Environment (QHSE).
  14. Awareness of ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 & API Q1, 7K & 16C standards are preferable.
Required Skills:
  1. Knowledge of Hydraulic and Service related/supported applications is an added advantage
  2. Detail-oriented and ready to act in emergencies
  3. Excellent communication skills with the ability to present and explain health and safety topics
  4. Good knowledge of potentially hazardous materials or practices
  5. Diligent with great attention to detail
  6. Familiarity with conducting data analysis and reporting statistics
  7. Experience in writing reports and policies for health and safety
