What you'll be doing  

At Chalhoub we express the exceptional! As a Fashion Consultant you will be responsible for achieving individual and collective sales targets while delivering exceptional Guest Experience; and ensuring support in the implementation of CRM, CX and other key customer and people initiatives in-store. 

  • You will collect data on customer behaviour, top sellers, slow movers which will be key input for business reviews 
  • Drive client relationships within an omni-channel approach 
  • Provide pre-buying feedback on products 
  • Drive eNPS through people experience initiatives and culture 
  • Ensure adherence to VM guidelines and Standard operating procedures (SOPs) 
  • Ensure click and collect are conducted within SLAs (Service-level agreement) 
  • Ensure customer data is properly captured in adherence to marketing team requirements 
  • Support with in-store marketing events and activations 
  • Keep abreast of all brand social media activities and campaigns 
  • Drive sell-throughs within the store 
  • Support in-store CX initiatives 
  • Provide input to what’s working well/what’s not working well within the store

About the team:

You will be working with a dynamic team based out of Bahrain. The partnership and sales team will be only you however you will be working closely with the GM and the central team to ensure you have the right support to succeed. 

What you'll do:

  • Responsible for the acquisition and account management of corporate sales clients in Bahrain which includes:
    • Leading the focal point for all the corporate sales efforts in Bahrain
    • Meeting with new and existing clients.
    • Ensuring great attention to detail and very fast SLA when dealing with clients on project planning and implementation.
    • Building and nurturing the relationship with Marketing, PR and Supply teams on the ground to ensure timely delivery of corporate sales projects. 
    • Working on business cases and key metrics to be presented to the country GM and Finance/Commercial teams for any sales deal.
    • Reporting on Corporate deals on a weekly basis and comparing versus targets and budgets to ensure alignment.
    • Maintaining an updated CRM tool on a daily basis.
    • Measured by GMV of invoiced clients
  • Responsible for the building strong partnerships that will help Careem grow its business in Bahrain:
    • Comfortable to discuss partnership opportunities with HR teams for employees benefits and with different commercial teams for Bahrain focused partnerships
    • Ability to think analytically to develop partnership propositions that are win-win for Careem
    • Ability to manage and satisfy partner requests within agreed time-frames
    • Effectively execute of all initiatives with partners and end to end ownership
    • Align with all key stakeholders (Marketing, Operations, Demand Growth, BI, etc…)
    • Tabulate and present key findings on partnerships for further insight
    • Measured by Impact (trips, new users, gross revenue, impressions)

What you'll need:

 

  • 3-5 years of previous sales or partnership experience
  • Strong sales, business development, partnerships, or marketing background
  • Diversity across various industries
  • Strong command of Google Suite & Microsoft Office
  • Comfortable to present in front of large audiences
  • A solid understanding of company’s market: products, players, technologies
  • World class communication skills: ability to express oneself with clarity

Guest Service Assistant – Magic Planet

Guarantee excellent customer satisfaction, by providing an exciting, professional, and enjoyable experience and monitoring the orderly operation of the store’s equipment in a clean and safe environment.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Carries out the daily walk-through to identify faults, breakdowns, and equipment deficiencies for all the store assets (games, rides, points of sale…etc) and reports any issues to the Floor Supervisor on duty and the relevant Technician.
  • Carries out small technical jobs (e.g., blocked tickets), empties and reconciles token machines when necessary and takes meter readings, and reconciles tickets in machines.
  • Cleans the store machines and rides, maintains the tidiness of the immediate work area to meet company standards.
  • Greets and facilitates customers on the floor by persuading them to use all games and rides available in the facility.
  • Stays updated on all promotions and fees and advises customers on the best value for money transactions available that meet their specific requirements.
  • Issues Magic Planet cards and/or tickets and makes all the relevant transactions using the company’s Embed system, collects, and reconciles cash, and reconciles vouchers, wristbands, and coupons.
  • Issues and redeems prizes according to points’ value.
  • Always maintains excellent customer service, handles all customer complaints promptly and professionally, and ensures immediate escalation to the Floor Supervisor on duty as required.
  • Demonstrates the use of computerized scoring systems (Bowling).
  • Deals with customer concerns about payouts and redemption issues.
  • Ensures that the Redemption Counter/merchandise items are shuffled periodically and organized in an attractive manner to always maintain a fresh look. Monitors and carries out stock checks with the necessary controls.
  • Operates rides according to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs’)
  • Ensures that all customers use the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required for certain attractions in the correct manner.
  • Guarantees the safe operation and evacuation of rides in case of accident or breakdown (skills required for Sky Trail).
  • Where necessary guarantees children are signed in and out of appropriate areas.
  • Completes all log entries in the logbook on a daily basis as required.
  • Guarantees proper opening and closing of all rides, machines, and points of sales in the assigned area at the end of the shift/business hours.

 

Skillset (job-specific technical skills and behavioral competencies needed)

  • Must have the ability to follow verbal and written communications and communicate effectively with the public and coworkers in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Should maintain a high standard of cleanliness without instruction.
  • Should maintain a consistently high standard of customer service.

 

Minimum experience

  • Experience in the customer services field is preferred.
  • Experience in cash handling is preferred.
    Must be able to explain and enforce operating policies and procedures.

IDT Service Assurance Engineer, Shell, Qatar

 What's the role?

Service Assurance shows proficiency in monitoring the availability of a landscape of services, typically across a Site (such as Pearl GTL site) or across an infrastructure component that services multiple application landscapes.

She/he assists the Service Assurance team in ensuring key availability and security KPIs remain a primary focus, as well as escalate as needed within the IDT Services and Operations organization when service levels deteriorate. 

  • Support Qatar operations in the area service assurance and field operations.

  • Management of Major incidents and operational issues with a view to coordinate with relevant service providers to promptly solve the issues.

  • Acts as the facility focal point for all Qatar Shell locations in Qatar.

  • Assists on planning and execution operations.

  • Responsible on operations.

  • Responsible for planning and execution of yearly Client Asset Refresh program.

  • Responsible for providing yearly estimation of hardware and peripherals to ensure the continuity of Secure and Reliable IT Operations.

  • Assists on budget build up during cycles.

  • Represent in all meeting with business stakeholders where required.

  • Provide input and requirements (functional and technical) and actively participate in ongoing projects.

  • Ensures safe execution of all operations in line with Shell Goal Zero targets.

  • Assists with building roadmap on Asset of the Future in Qatar.

Special Challenges:

We are looking for an action-oriented, energetic, and curious individual who has a learning mindset, and a passion for emerging and exponential technologies. Successful candidate should be able to understand the value chain of the IT business portfolio and associated customer journeys and touchpoints and apply customer centric techniques to identify and pursue the right value opportunities. She/he should be able to  engage with a with a variety of stakeholders across the Qatar Shell with excellent communication skills and  translate business requirements to IT Product development

What we need from you

  • Typical Years of Experience: 1 to 3 years of IT experience in a corporate setting

  • Minimum Education or Certification: 4-year Degree in IT

  • Experience in end user and IT systems support.

  • Have a good understanding of Service Management, Service Provider, End User Computing and Networks.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, which are critical and required to develop the professional respect essential for successful performance.

  • Fluent in English

  • Ability to manage relations with peers and senior managers effectively in various organizations.

  • Ability and willingness to travel and work at offshore production facility.
