Your responsibilities

  • Supplier Identification & Registration - Identifies new suppliers in cooperation with relevant category
  • team. Qualifies new suppliers in cooperation with Supplier
  • Quality, HSE and Engineering specialists. Registration in local ABB System as well as in SAP Ariba.
  • Negotiations - Negotiates agreements with main suppliers, and periodically renews price lists, terms and conditions.
  • Contracts - Adapts corporate contractual framework to the local business needs. Recommends frame agreements to management, and executes upon approval.
  • Bid Analysis - Analyzes and evaluates bids in order to determine the optimal value.
  • Sales Support - Supports bids and proposal teams by providing relevant market information and early involvement in tenders where risks involved and above threshhold value. Arrange quotes from Qualified/approved suppliers through ABB Procure.
  • Goods Received - Tracks goods received to verify appropriate delivery and ensure invoice processing.
  • Supplier Performance - Oversees supplier performance (on time delivery, quality, lead time), and resolves performance issues.
  • Orders - Initiates purchase orders (PO) in the system, according to the Purchase Requisitions and in alignment with standard procedures, and confirms delivery with suppliers, monitors and tracks supplier performance to purchase order requirements.
  • Customer Alignment - Aligns supplier orders with customer requirements (based on Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)/project requirements) in terms of content, quality, delivery, sustainability and price.
  • Process Alignment - Conducts all Procurement & Logistics activities for all goods and services in accordance with policies and procedures. Ensures SAP Ariba global supplier relationship management platform is kept updated as defined in procedures. Maintains updated information for any purchasing parameters and indicators.
  • SCM KPI Reporting - Contribute to achieve below SCM KIP targets; CR: Cost Reduction %, TCI: Tender Cost Improvement, TOP: Time of Payment & SQP: Supplier Qualification % set by LBL.

Your background

  • Ideally you'll hold a University Degree preferred in Supply Chain/Engineering is essential, with Project procurement and execution skills in SCM.
  • 3-5 years experience in the related field.
  • High level communication skills with intercultural sensitivity in a global organization.
  • Prior knowledge of ABB global business, policies and organization will be of an advantage.
  • Knowledge of commodity / business relevant supply markets supporting global business.
  • Negotiation skills and strong business ethics should be displayed.
  • Building knowledge of related disciplines in the organization. May work under direct supervision or independently. May instruct or coach junior colleagues.

Nahdicare Marketing Senior Manager, Nahdi, Jeddha, KSA

Job Description

Manage the execution, operation, promotion & communication plans for their respective categories through the collaboration with the concerned stakeholders to ensure proper positioning and communication to meet Nahdi strategy.

Accountabilities

Business Understanding & Alignment:

  • Develop solid understanding of the category and shopper drivers through research and trade visits in order to be able to send a message that fits both Nahdi and the target audience.
  • Build solid and long term relations with the commercial & operational teams of our key vendors in alignment with the commercial category managers. This will allow building preference to Nahdi and open a new channel of communication and knowledge sharing.

Execution:

  • Manage the execution of the category concept that communicates the role of each category within the department it belongs to (Health, Beauty, Baby…etc.) by ensuring concept fits with the Nahdi brand essence, as well as update regularly the consumers’ expectations for each brand to come up with a winning plan to properly position Nahdi in the marketplace.
  • Measure the performance, track the category audit per region, study the impact of all marketing activity, promotion plans through constant reporting and updates of progress on a monthly basis using dashboards of which it will ensure business growth, brand equity and the achievement of the set KPIs.
  • Develop, manage & execute an annual category marketing calendar across the respective categories with Commercial & operation departments through quarterly & monthly update in order to have a thematic communication campaign that will build our categories with strong positioning to reach customers with engagement tools like digital, ambassadors program and sustainability.
  • Develop annual promotional calendar for the respective categories with commercial & promotion team that ties with our new brand equity house, strengthens ties with vendors and evolves the current activities beyond trade discounts into brand and loyalty building marketing campaigns.

Employee’s duties are not limited only to the Accountabilities mentioned above; he/she may perform other duties as assigned.

If you are a leader with a mind for business management, Parsons has an opportunity for you! As a Project Business Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that your assigned projects meet client objectives and project business goals.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Serves as an integral part of the proposal team in anticipating the costs and risks of alternative project execution strategies. Summarizes and translates information on taxation, regulation and legislation, financing, insurance and other specialized areas into meaningful formats allowing informed decision making by executive management during the proposal and project execution phases.
  • Develops gross profit and cash flow models for a project, updating the models as required, and provides the Project Manager with significant summary and trend information.
  • Establishes a project change control procedure and monitors its implementation. This involves reviewing all incoming and outgoing correspondence and notes of meetings for the identification of changes to the contract. It also includes the determination of the cost and schedule impact and obtaining the contract change order.
  • Oversees billing on cost-reimbursable projects, ensuring that invoices have adequate documentation to satisfy client auditors. Manages accounts payable and related functions. Receives progress payments on lump sum projects, and works with GBU finance group in investing project funds.
  • Identifies office space and furniture/equipment requirements in conjunction with the Project Manager, and makes lease and purchase commitments on behalf of the Company or Joint Venture. May be responsible for managing the office facility and office administration staff.
  • Reviews contracts with suppliers, and oversees administration of the prime contract. Ensures that the entire technical project team has a thorough understanding of the contractual terms. Ensures project procurement and subcontracting policies adhere to project plan.
  • Serves as liaison between clients, Parsons management, joint venture partners, internal and external auditors, and funding agencies or institutions on matters related to project financing.
  • Prepares reports and presentations for senior management as required.
  • Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.



Qualifications:

  • At least 10+ years of experience, including prior accounting/financial experience on a project. 
  • Experienced in construction planning and management that will drive engineering technologies integration.
  • Practical experience with the tools to be integrated, be experienced in full lifecycle engineering and construction management.
  • An understanding of MS Suite of software, including SQL Server, Oracle 11g, SQL Reporting Services, IIS, .NET Framework, .ASP, C++, Visual Basic, and SharePoint Services development and management.
  • An understanding of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, including financial systems, such as PeopleSoft.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of facilities management systems, including systems designed for space management and facilities operations and maintenance systems (CMMS).
  • Past hands on and supervisory performance with project management, systems development life cycle, and business process modeling.
  • Experience with developing proposals, projecting and planning for future efforts, estimating resources, and developing estimates.
  • Past performance with all data center hosting components in acquiring, installing, implementing, and sustaining WAN and LAN and network devices; firewalls; database/application/storage/utility servers; backup and disaster recovery; and voice, video, and streaming technologies.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate with users and team members on technical and nontechnical subjects. 
  • Ability to develop and brief senior client leadership, end users, and personnel from other client organizations.
  • The candidate must possess a demonstrated track record of team leadership, team accomplishments, focus on customer requirements, and progression throughout career.

We are looking for a talented experienced Senior Sales & Operations Planning Specialist to join the team in Dubai.

As Senior S&OP Specialist you’ll be responsible to optimize the value chain relationships within the company to deliver value and provide transparency to the organization about monthly demand plans, constraints, and opportunities. You will also ensure fulfillment of customers’ orders and work closely with project teams to optimize network inventory and production, integration of new businesses, and new product launches.

Your ‘day to day’
• Work closely with country managers, brand managers, and finance, to analyze trends, understands market intelligence align on-demand pipeline, and new launches, and populate a Short and Mid-term supply planning requirement in line with the S&OP process.
• Maintain a continuous improvement mindset by improving planning approach, collaborating with relevant partners in an effort to work towards Zero Loss: reducing exposure to damaged materials, finished goods, aging inventory, out of stocks, and minimizing expedited shipments mode.
• Coordinate end-to-end order lifecycle in a timely and accurate manner including production plan to order availability, transportation, documentation, and receipt by destination- in compliance with internal policies and quality systems. Provide periodic visibility as it seems necessary.
• Lead demand and supply exceptions related to assigned markets by running what-if scenarios, proactively looking for solutions, and anticipating business impact. Analyze and effectively communicate relevant information to enable decision-making.
• Publish and maintain important metrics on monthly basis, run root cause analysis, and suggest corrective actions.
• Develop strong relationship with commercial teams and distributors to deliver against business objectives by continuously reviewing and improving processes to deliver tangible benefits.
• Play a key role in the deployment of planning tools such as Demand Sensing, DRP and support value creation projects such as Cost to Serve and Network Optimization

Who we’re looking for
• 5+ years of professional experience in supply chain and/or logistics.
• Prior work experience in the FMCG industry, preferably in the Middle East with strong distributor/stakeholder management
• Strong business acumen and understanding of cost management
• Able to work with diverse teams in a project-based organization
• Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and data-driven thinking, ability to translate complex data to meaningful insights.
• Outstanding collaboration and communication skills
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Exposure to SAP and E2Open Tools is a plus
• Excellent command of English is a must, and fluency in Arabic is a strong asset
