You as a Service Sales Manager - UAE will be part of Hitachi Energy business based in Dubai, UAE. You will be planning and ensuring execution of product unit sales strategy for UAE, to achieve both qualitative and quantitative targets for service business in a profitable way. Taking responsible for leading and developing and coaching the sales organization proactively, to exceed the sales targets through high performance in order to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

Your responsibilities

  • Sales strategy: Creating, planning and implementing sales strategy and strategic sales and business development initiatives, in alignment with global sales strategy. Achieving sales targets in respect of both budgets and sales efficiency.
  • Sales targets: Establishing sales targets and ensures sales achievement through regular oversight and definition and implementation of improvement plans as needed.
  • Customer acquisition: Identifying opportunities at existing and potential new customers within defined geographical area and determines plans for acquisition and allocates resources.
  • Information sharing: Coordinating the flow of information for sales activities and transactions, including leads, billings, orders, contracts, etc. and evaluates data to ensure achievement of goals. Monitoring and providing reports to the Marketing and Sales organization on market intelligence.
  • Customer relations: Supporting the development of strong relationships with key customers. Building and maintaining strong relationships with key decision makers. Ensuring efficient marketing communications.
  • Volume, profit and cost: Ensuring achievement of sales volume and product mix targets by setting appropriate price and margin for sales. Participating on negotiations of key contracts. Managing ongoing costs.
  • Risk: Monitoring client financial status and reports any changes regarding risk to relevant internal partner teams. Identifying and managing potential risks relating to contract agreements across customers or channels.
  • Sales process: Taking ownership of the sales processes and all relevant training and development plans, actions and programs.
  • People leadership and development: Ensuring that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed. Coaching, motivating and developing direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies. Driving and ensuring know-how sharing and cross-collaboration.
  • Safety and integrity: Living Hitachi Energy core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.

Your background

  • A bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
  • 5- 10 years’ experience in Service Sales.
  • Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.

JOB SUMMARY

As a Project Planner, you will be responsible for determining project management procedures according to business requirements and client specifications.  This role will schedule deliverables of outputs for every milestone to ensure the team follows the track of guidelines, adhering to company policies and project plans. 

JOB SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Liaise with rig and project teams to provide planning support for Special Periodic Survey (SPS), contract prep, upgrades and reactivation projects both onshore and offshore as required (offshore travel will be required)
  • Develop and maintain project work scopes according to Seadrill Project Controls Directives
  • Provide support for inclusion of 3rd-party work scopes in projects
  • Provide planning services for out of service and planned maintenance activities as directed by SPS/UWILD Directives
  • Facilitate interactive planning and scope challenge sessions to finalize project basis documentation
  • Liaise with internal subject matter experts for technical support and follow up of technical queries related to project requirements
  • Develop comprehensive Primavera schedules for assigned projects
  • Liaise with rig management to ensure regulatory and class compliance is reflected in projects
  • Monitor, update and report actual status versus planned throughout the project execution period
  • Ensure all data for project reporting is collected and documentation completed as required
  • Ensure compliance with current Seadrill SPS/UWILD directive requirements
  • Provide support for follow up and close out documentation requirements as required per SPS/UWILD Directives
  • Administrative duties supporting long term planning, budgeting and reporting of Seadrill share capital equipment pool (SSCE) and compliance with Seadrill Maintenance Management Systems
  • Ability to travel internationally Onshore/Offshore to project work sites

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

 

Essential

  • High level of relevant technical knowledge
  • Strong planning systems experience with MS Project and Oracle Construction and Engineering (Primavera P6)
  • Ability to travel Internationally Onshore/Offshore to project work sites

Desired

  • Ability to liaise at high level with drilling unit maintenance teams and management
  • Excellent understanding of Projects/SPS/UWILD activities
  • Excellent understanding of CMMS and its use in Projects. (Maximo a plus)

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS

 

Minimum Requirements

  • Relevant engineering degree or equivalent planning technical qualification.
  • 5 years minimum experience in maintenance environment. Enterprise maintenance systems knowledge and proven experience in hands on planning operations

Preferred

  • Technical documentation report writing and audit skills
  • Good hands on skills and ability to teach and train others
  • Experience with project delivery in Drilling or EPC environment

  • You have a background in (transportation, ride hailing, logistics, e-commerce, consulting, investment banking) or similar industries as well as in project management.
