Support and implement internal and external communication strategies for the organization to ensure that it is unified and consistent, in addition to raising brand awareness through creative marketing initiatives, Events, Digital platforms etc..

Roles & Responsibilities

•   Lead core event management from end to end to deliver to customer expectations
•   Assume brand guideline responsibilities in selected key events to ensure consistency
•   Provide support to brand managers as and when required for delivering the content for the events
•   Create all supplier data base and processing of purchase orders, payments in line with the guidelines
•   Work with central procurement to identify new suppliers to continuously evaluate cost saving opportunities
•   Manage IFFCO website and coordinate with IS team for updates, new contract and maintain to number of hours agreed
•   Support intranet with artworks as necessary on request from human resources
•   Collaborate with marketing team to optimize the delivery of IFFCO brochures, movies or any other corporate content
•   Maintain external supplier network for communication content development
•   Manage inventory for all supplies for the event or corporate marketing materials
•   Support in developing external image of IFFCO through corporate gifting strategies
•   Coordinate external publishing of newspaper adverts as and when required
•   Communicate effectively with suppliers, IFFCO sales, marketing, operations, technical to deliver the agreed objectives in cost effective and timely manner
•   Building (technical) skills in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop are preferred

Work experience requirement

• 5 to 8 years of experience
• Demonstrable people leadership and development experience is a must

Qualification

Bachelor degree in Hotel Management / Event Management (Experience in managing big exhibitions, hotel events in country or external destinations)
Degree in Mass Communication (preferred)

Other Requirements

•   Result-oriented attitude, pragmatic hands-on approach, and can-do mentality
•   Team leadership
•   Good communication and presentation skills
•   Fluent in English, and Arabic is an advantage
•   Proficient in MS Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint)
•   Demonstrable project management and product management skills

The Risk Manager will oversee the organizations comprehensive risk management program, assessing and identifying risks that could impede the reputation, safety, security, or financial success of the organization. The role is expected to provide hands-on development of risk models involving market, credit and operational risk, assure controls are operating effectively, and provide research and analytical support

Job Description:

Conduct assessments- identifying, describing and estimating the risks affecting the business;
To define and analyze possible risks
Evaluate the gravity of each risk by considering its consequences which involves comparing estimated risks with criteria established by the organization such as costs, legal requirements and environmental factors, and evaluating the organization’s previous handling of risks
Audit processes and procedures
Develop risk management controls and systems
Design processes to eliminate or mitigate potential risks
Create contingency plans to manage crises
Evaluate existing policies and procedures to find weaknesses
Prepare reports and present recommendations
Help implement solutions and plans
Evaluate employees’ risk awareness and train them when necessary
Manage the implementation of all aspects of the risk function, including implementation of processes, tools and systems to identify, assess, measure, manage, monitor and report risks.;
Establishing and quantifying the organization’s 'risk appetite', i.e. the level of risk they are prepared to accept;
Risk reporting in an appropriate way for different audiences the board of directors so they understand the most significant risks, to business heads to ensure they are aware of risks relevant to their parts of the business.
Providing Support, education and training to staff to build risk awareness within the organization

Qualitative Requirements:

Experience (Yrs& Field) : 8-10 years of experience in a related field

Educational Qualification : Risk Management and Financial /Engineering

Professional Certifications : Quality certifications likes Six Sigma or ISO are preferred

Skills & Abilities:

Proven experience as a Risk Manager
Knowledge of risk assessment and control
Experience with auditing and reporting procedures
Strong computer and research skills; knowledge of analysis software is preferred (e.g. Statistical Analysis Software, or SAS)
Analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to present concepts and guidance to business leadership;
Ability to lead and guide peer-teams through expert/referent authority.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and exemplify personal and professional integrity

You as a MEA HV HSE Manager will be part of Hitachi Energy business based in Dubai, UAE. You will be leading and managing optimized Center of Expertise (CoE) support to business in assigned Region and constituent countries to comply with local Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) and Human Rights law. Ensuring fiduciary risks are managed through Country SA/HSE Board.

Your responsibilities

Taking responsibilities of continuous improvement in the MEA HUB of High Voltage Products Business Unit.
Providing dedicated day-to-day HSE support for the local operating unit in United Arab Emirates.
Coaching and developing HSE Competence within the HSE Function, leadership of management and promotion of a positive HSE culture in all activities.
Creating a true learning organization to stop the repeat cycle of incidents by thorough investigation, application of the mitigation and onward share of lessons learned.
Contributing to a global strategy as a member of the High Voltage Products HSE Leadership Team with MEA implementation responsibilities.
Guiding the business decisions and operations to a strong risk management and legal compliant approach.
Participating in employee engagement activities, highlight and share best practice, identify high potential talent and promote a diverse and inclusive organization.
Developing and implementing Hitachi Energy HSE Management system and optimize standardized approach across Middle East and Africa HUB.

Your background

A bachelor’s degree in engineering.
5 – 10 years of experience in leading an HSE in a multi-site environment.
Knowledge and understanding of safe operations including electrical activities and production safety practices.
Strong understanding in international Health, Safety & Environmental.
Proven interpersonal and influencing skills with a strong focus of Safety & Environmental Excellence and team building leadership approach.
Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
