You are responsible for

Developing professional expertise, applies company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues.

Conducting presentations concerning specific projects or schedules.

Implement and execute our people strategy with HRBP, management and other stakeholders (CoE, PPS).

Act as a sparring partner for HRBPs and managers on local implications and solutions for managers and/or employees in employee relations procedures.

Work closely with the business to understand and address business issues and supports local organizational capabilities development with HR interventions

Drive standardization in the execution of HR policies and processes.

Support and facilitate the development of managers in people management and manager self-service.

Participate in HR-projects on a cluster / market level

To succeed in this role, you’ll need a customer-first attitude and the following
Bachelors Degree in a relevant field

Experience in operational implementation of the HR strategy through day-today execution of HR activities

Experience in delivery of core HR services through end-to-end framework

Experience in managing stakeholders

Experience in planning, coordinating, executing, and evaluating projects

Very good command of Microsoft Powerpoint and facilitation of meetings, trainings

Excellent command of written and spoken English

Lead Payroll & HRIS Administration MENA, Schindler, Dubai, UAE

 Role Objective: 

The Payroll & HRIS Administration Manager MENA (GOM Position Title: Lead Payroll & HRIS Administration MENA) for the KG will act as the CoE (Center of Expertise) for the central functions of payroll and Employee Central / HRIS management scope for the KG with the primary aim to:

 

  1. Ensure efficiency and standard in our HR operations processes related to Workforce Admin.
  2. Efficiently support Human Resources across all OCs in the KG in the administrative and transactional activities of the whole employee lifecycle in providing HR operational, administrative and transactional support for various HR tasks in the whole employee lifecycle i.e. processing payroll, including social security and tax, maintaining HRIS data in EC.

  • Headcount Control and BU/Approved Positions
  • Centralized Payroll Management
  • HRIS Employee Central Administration
  • HR Ticketing Service
  • Medical and Life Insurances
  • Social Security, Taxation, Pension
  • Work Permits, Visas & Immigration
  • Travel Desk
  • Outsourcing Support Functions
  • Support on Total Rewards: Compensation Planning, Pay Design & Benefits Program, GPS Grading
  • Variable Pay/Bonus/Incentive Program
  • Global Mobility / IAs
  • Benchmarking and Market Survey

 Education:

 

  • Formal academic qualification in human resource management.

  • Post-graduate degree would be an advantage.

 

Experience:

 

  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in managing the payroll/C&B function and data management in a supervisor/managerial role with a total of 10 years in an HR environment.
  • Exposure in an industrial engineering and multinational environment would be a preference.

 

Skill & Qualities: 

  • In-depth understanding of C&B and HRIS.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications (Excel & PowerPoint).
  • Understanding of SAP HRMS & SuccessFactors would be necessary.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Strong cross-cultural awareness and willingness to travel (approx. 30%)

 

Language: 

 

  • Proficient in English both in speaking and writing
