About Our Client

Our client is a diversified group and are hiring an Assistant Audit Manager for their e-commerce business.

Job Description

  • Providing key contribution though identification and assessment of the organisation's audit risk areas to aid in the development of the yearly internal audit plan
  • Prepare a detailed audit for the allotted region, based on the annual plan and ensure implementation and end to end management of assigned audits on getting it approved by the Audit Operations Manager.
  • Convey allocated assignments to engagement team in a clear and concise manner, ensuring high quality, accurate and effective outcomes.
  • Audit and assess the adequacy and viability of the internal controls and compliance with the group's policies and procedures
  • Conduct unique field reviews on the request of the working organisations or on the guidance of the Audit Chief to thoroughly examine the critical segment of the business, distinguish the weaker and problem areas and suggest measure for effective control
  • Guide and motivate subordinates to improve performance and produce quality work and ensure that they are consistently produced for higher level roles
  • Support the field auditors in executing the review according to the arrangement and within the defined budget and in accordance with the audit methodology
  • Guarantee the end-to-end process reviews are directed, examine and consolidate observations, finalise the draft review report with the Operational/Functional group and present the report to the Audit management for their review.

The Successful Applicant

  • Experience in e-commerce businesses in a MUST
  • A Bachelor's degree, preferably within an Accounting or Finance
  • CIA qualification is preferred
  • CA, CPA, or ACCA with a Post Graduate Degree
  • 6-7 years of experience within the relevant function

Job Description

  • Leas the BU financial planning process inline with the group processes and policies
  • Conduct financial due-diligence/assessment for projects and commercial initiatives
  • Provide performance reporting, analysis and insights
  • Lead the profitability management and analysis
  • Manage the return on investment analysis
  • Lead cashflow improvement and optimisation
  • Evaluate and oversee financial data and formulate strategic plans to drive business objectives
  • Oversee the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis periodically. Subsequently, review results and formulate insightful recommendations for improvement
  • Business partner with various departments to develop strategies that serve key operational, commercial, and financial targets
  • Manage and supervise the reporting and consolidation process for all entities under the group
  • Continuously develop tools/systems to streamline the forecasting and budgeting processes
  • Establish budget and operating benchmarks, to improve the efficiency in the preparation of monthly / annual forecasts
  • Evaluating financial and operational results to assess critical areas for improvement
  • Formulate best practices to streamline business activities and foster a continuous development environment

The Successful Applicant

  • Minimum 12 years of experience of which at least 6-7 years in a managerial role
  • Experience within the FMCG sector is a MUST
  • Ideal candidate has experience in multinationals or large regional FMCG groups
  • Fluency in Arabic is preferred

Position Objective:

Lead a dedicated team of Customer Service & Logistics Representatives and provide effective and efficient customer service to all internal and external Getinge Group Middle East customers by utilizing excellent, in-depth knowledge of supply chain and customer service.

 

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise a team of dedicated customer service and logistics representatives.
  • Ensure the team follows customer service processes, from order entry to the delivery of goods.
  • Monitor the team for the achievement of the best results as per the set KPIs.
  • Liaise with stakeholders (customers, sales managers, production units, and logistic personnel) to meet and exceed their expectations.
  • Experience in Order to Cash handling.
  • Proficiency in SAP, Incoterms, Letter of Credit, MS Office.
  • Prepare KPI report for the management.
  • Create and maintain files and reports needed by different teams.
  • Proven leadership and management skills.
  • Support the team to resolve the issues raised by internal and external customers.

 

Qualification (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):

  • A Bachelor’s degree in business administration or equivalent; and 3 to 5 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Team Lead experience in customer service, and logistics.
  • Good communication skills; fluent in spoken and written English. French and Arabic would have an added advantage.
  • Working experience with SAP and Incoterms 2020.
  • Experience in dealing with Global Inspection Companies such as Bureau Veritas, SGS, Intertek, etc.
  • Ability to effectively establish rapport, present information, and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, pro-rata, and percentages.
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic accounting.
  • Skill and ability to organize and prioritize work and meet deadlines.
