Production Manager (Galvanizing Plant), Coastal Qatar, Doha, Qatar

Qualification:

Engineering Degree in Chemical/Mechanical or other relevant degree.

EXPERIENCE:

10+ years of experience as a plant/ production manager
Experience in managing galvanizing plants with a production of minimum 1800 Tons per month.
GCC experience is preferable

SKILLS REQUIRED:

Deep understanding & knowledge of the whole galvanizing process and its related international standards.
Ability to read production drawings
Ensure that standard operating procedures are adhered to; process optimization, quality assurance and quality control procedures required for a galvanizing plant are all efficiently implemented.
Expertise in equipment set-up in a galvanizing plant
Set and monitor all related parameters during galvanizing process
Experience in setting and implementing preventive and emergency maintenance for galvanizing plant.
Intensive knowledge of quality aspects of galvanizing, defects causes, repair procedures, acceptance/ rejection criteria, analysis methodologies..ec.
Must have good exposure in establishing safe working condition in a galvanizing plant and implementing the related procedures.
Demonstrated ability to make decisions and set direction
Excellent Communication skills
Proven project management skills
Demonstrated team building and leadership skills to lead the production and operation team of the plant.
Strong technical expertise in a manufacturing environment
Experience in Microsoft applications

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Overall responsibility of galvanizing plant
Control and monitor process parameters to ensure high quality products are produced at maximum utilization of the plant.
Achieving monthly and yearly galvanization production target within time and cost parameters.
Optimizing man & machine utilization to achieve pre-set production targets.

Analyzing various processes / applications and recommending process modifications & equipment calibrations to enhance operational efficiency.
Arranging maintenance of galvanizing plant.
Man Power controlling.
Supervision of galvanizing plant on day-to-day basis covering galvanizing of poles and structures.
Attending project meetings to understand the project priorities for galvanization & shipping.
Managing a team of supervisors, foreman and workers; guiding them to address and resolve performance bottlenecks along with imparting in house training.
Ensure implementation and adherence to health and safety procedures
Ensure efficient collaboration and co-ordination between relevant departments.
Recommend and implement improvements.

Review Procedures, Material submittals & other submittals related to the works.

Job Summary and Purpose

As senior project engineer, incumbent is responsible for planning, design and execution of ship repair, offshore and new buildings projects focusing on engineering side of the project execution. The role require the senior project engineer to closely work with project team and handle all engineering requirements indippendently and coordinate with the trades and project management team for various engineering and design requirements of the project.

Accountabilities

Key Accountabilities:
1.   Responsible for handling high value and technically challenging engineering projects in ship repair, conversion, new build and off shore jobs.
2.   Assist the Project Management Head in planning and implementing day-to-day operations in compliance with the established standards and procedures.
3.   Ensuring engineering work undertaken is accordance with Departmental Work Instructions, Procedures and Standards.
4.   Responsible to maintain and update the client supplied engineering drawing register, maintain separate records of sample drawings issued by client and schedule for the assigned projects.
5.   Supervise, maintain and update the yard engineering deliverables list and schedule and submission of engineering status reports for weekly and monthly progress meetings.
6.   Coordinate with the trades and project management team for various engineering and design requirements of the ship repair, new build and offshore projects.
7.   Responsible to liaise with with the client, class and third party agents on engineering requirements and advise the project team on the various technical aspects with regards to class and standard engineering practices.
8.   Preparation and submission of engineering design, method statements and specific procedures in line with client requirements and ensure the timely submission of yard engineering reports and progress details to the client.
9.   Ensure the timely receipt of client engineering details so as not to hamper smooth construction and highlight the requirement of critical documents in advance.
10.   Preparation and submission of the As-built drawings and data in accordance with contract requirements.
11.   Preparation and submission of the spare parts and interchangeability record and related documentation.
12.   Preparation, compilation and submission of operation and maintenance manuals as required.
13.   Preparation, compilation and submission of commissioning checklist and completion documents.
14.   Complies with all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment.
15.   Performs other related duties or assignments as directed on order to contribute to the continuous operations of the department.

•   8 years relevant working experience

Senior Sales Manager, Amadeus, Riyadh, KSA

The purpose of this role is to develop and pitch long-term digital media and data partnership agreements with global Destination Marketing Organizations (DMOs) in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia region along with other MENA DMO's as required. Key focus is on new business development along with upselling/cross-selling opportunities.

As part of the International Commercial Hospitality team, this role reports directly into DMO sales leadership whilst also working closely with the regional Amadeus teams to leverage and cross sell additional opportunities.
Travel is required frequently to meet potential DMO partners in order to pitch and present our strong value proposition.

Main responsibilities:

Develop key relationships with DMO decision makers, and pitch Amadeus Hospitality Solutions with a focus on developing new revenue across all Amadeus Hospitality solutions as per agreed targets.
Lead Generation - sourcing new leads and building an active pipeline of business.
Respond to complex (RFP) request for proposals, negotiate with government department/agencies to ensure long-term wins for Amadeus against other competitors. Meeting strict time lines to respond to responses on time.
Keeping up to date with all relevant products and platforms and associated internal trainings.
Partner with DMOs and account managers to develop travel campaigns across all Amadeus digital media platforms which deliver strong results and lead to renewed campaign bookings.

Requirements:

Bachelor degree or above in Business management, marketing, or travel industry management equivalent.
10 years commercial experience in B2B sales.
Strong experience in Ad Tech/Digital Media. Travel/Hospitality experience would be helpful. Strong negotiation skills with Government departments. Past experience in writing and winning RFPs would be highly desired.
