  • The main purpose of the Industrial Engineer is to Work to eliminate waste of time, money, materials, person-hours, machine time, energy and other resources that do not generate value.
  • Follow Plant downtime analysis using lean manufacturing tools such as TIP & related cost recovery cases within MFG.
  • Develop, status, and analyse Manufacturing Master Schedules in sufficient detail to monitor progress, assess program status, and identify performance issues in a timely manner.
    Use critical path methodology and application in network development, analysis, and problem resolution.
  • Work to improve efficiencies through waste elimination and process improvements.
  • Perform data analysis to establish & improve shop metrics (i.e  Analyzing actual performance of productivity and responsiveness and drive for corrective actions to ensure targets are achieved.)
  • Provide Technical support and assistance to manufacturing and maintenance team members, production supervisors .
  • Regional & Global Benchmark activities

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Excellent English & Arabic language both spoken and written
  • Excellent Computer skills
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills including effective report writing
  • Solid understanding of Lean concepts and their applications (kaizen tools & VSM Methodology,  ..etc)
  • Experience with analytical tools such as flowcharts, Pareto charts, cause, and effect diagrams, run charts, etc. six sigma certificates is an assist
  • Project and resource management experience

Education:

  • The ideal candidate should have bachelor’s degree in engineering along with experience working in automotive environment
  • Strong Lean and Six sigma knowledge.
  • 1-3  years of relevant experience

 About the job

The Network Development Director (“NDD”) is a pivotal, in-country role, responsible for delivering the network growth of all IWG locations across all our brands (Regus, Spaces, Signature, HQ and Basepoint). The NDD is accountable for communicating the growth in the flexible work market and selling the opportunities of the IWG proposition within their assigned area. The remit includes new location development – identify, analyse and negotiate agreements to open locations in accordance with the company’s strategic and financial growth objectives. This will be done through a variety of deal structures.

Key Areas of Responsibility

Network Planning & Reviews

  • Contribute to writing the business plan to deliver IWG growth targets.
  • Benchmarking existing Business Centre performance and competitor performance
  • Planning activities by channel; agents, marketing, events, etc.
  • Planning best fit brand / products to target local demographic
  • Periodic reviews to track and amend activities to deliver the plan

Network Development

  • Generating and maintaining working relationships with property owners, developers, investors and real estate agents
  • Manage search activities
  • Position and explain the IWG proposition to agents and prospective landlords/partners in the market
  • Site selection/evaluation within the region, working closely with agents and key stakeholders within the business
  • Identify landlord or developer opportunities to build strategic initiatives

Sales and Negotiation

  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of growth opportunities
  • Develop a business case and supporting financial modelling to support each new opportunity
  • Lead and manager lease negotiation process including commercial and legal documentation
  • Prepare investment committee memorandum with internal stakeholders

Other

  • Asset/property management – maintain a log and resolve existing real estate portfolio issues, contract extensions, renewals and re-negotiate where necessary and appropriate
  • Support delivery of new sites, managing internal communication of progress at key milestones

Key Skills, Experience & Competencies

  • Multi-lingual – Arabic a major advantage
  • Well connected within the Real Estate market in the Middle East.
  • Strong experience of brokering large franchise/asset deals e.g. Branded Hotels with corporations or High Net Worth individuals.
  • Commercial focus – ability to plan and analyse return on property spend
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to persuade, identifying opportunities for new locations

Responsibilities

  • Ensure project management practices are aligned with the PMO guidelines and standards; contractual commitments are met, meet and improve upon the as-sold project financials and asset management targets, while attaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Work closely with the engineering management organization in Dubai HQ to ensure the vital engineering support for projects. Support Project Managers to maintain project schedules and take action as required to mitigate risk and to resolve disputes involving schedules, applications and functional intent of the contractual documents. Work closely with the projects and engineering teams to increase the use of Best Cost Engineering Center
  • Work closely with MEA Sales and Marketing, MEA Business Administration group, Product Development and Factory Operations to ensure effective support in obtaining and performing customer orders. Teams may consist of Emerson inter-departmental, inter-divisional, vendor or customer personnel.

  • Conduct regular team and Management meetings to ensure internal communications are working effectively.

Purpose

You will provide mechanical engineering services to Worley and its customers, including technical support and supervision within the mechanical engineering team.

 

Responsibilities 
  • Deliver mechanical engineering services that meet Worley's, its customers' and applicable statutory and regulatory specifications, on time and within budget.
  • Initiate, manage and if required supervise mechanical engineering project requirements.
  • Perform mechanical engineering services such as:
    • participate in relevant meetings, prepare progress reports and follow required checking procedures;
    • ensure the project scope is clear and that changes comply with project change management processes;
    • provide assistance and advice during procurement, construction and commissioning activities.  For example, write requisitions, conduct technical bid evaluations and write purchase orders. 
  • If required, act as the mechanical engineering Lead on specific projects.
  • Outline project requirements including actively promoting workshare, where appropriate, assigning tasks and supervising progress;and
  • Ensure the required services meet Worley,its customers and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements, on time and within budget. 
  • Proactively resolve any discrepancies between Worley and its Customer's requirements.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest developments and technical innovations in mechanical engineering.
  • If required, assist and support junior personnel within the mechanical engineering team.
  • Communicate effectively with the mechanical engineering team and project stakeholders, including the Customer.

Technical Experience
