Via Medica International Healthcare - Abu Dhabi is looking to hire a qualified and experienced Sourcing Procurement and Specialist with extensive Medical and Healthcare background. Must have a vast experience dealing locally suppliers.

Provides Strategic Support for Sourcing and implementation efforts. Guides the sourcing efforts to establish high quality and cost-effective supplier relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

    Management of the Procurement Team
    Supplier Management (Pre- Qualification) SLA
    Creation of Client Estimates
    Procurement of Materials and Services
    Document Control
    Reports

 

Education Qualification and Experience:

    Bachelor of Supply Chain
    Minimum of 6 years’ experience working in a clinical Laboratory, Medical Device, healthcare environment. History of implementing vendor selection and Procurement improvements.
    SAP experience is an advantage

As Procurement Manager your responsibilities would include but are not limited to:

    Good knowledge of supplier or third party management software

• Expedites delivery of goods to users.

• Update internal databases with order details (dates, vendors, quantities, & department)

• Confers with suppliers concerning late deliveries and backorders.

• Liaise with Premises Officer for the delivery and barcoding of the fix asset

• Discusses defective or unacceptable goods or services with inspection or premises officer, users, vendors, and others to determine the source of trouble and take corrective action.

• Follow up with suppliers, as needed, to confirm or change orders
