Take orders from his/her Demi Chef de Partie/ Chef de Partie and carry them out in the correct manner.

Together with his/her Chef de Partie to write daily dry store, food requisitions and kitchen transfers on the appropriate forms for the approval of the Executive Chef / Sous Chef in order to achieve the high stock rotation desired in his/her section.

Basic knowledge on food preparations.

To maintain good working relationships with colleagues and all other departments.

Work to the specifications received by the Demi Chef de Partie/Chef de Partie regarding portion size, quantity and quality as laid down in the recipe index


Culinary Diploma or 1 year experience in a similar position

An opportunity has arisen for a Meetings and Events Manager to join the Sales Department at Zabeel House by Jumeirah the Greens. The main duties and responsibilities of this role:


Coordinate all events manpower and operations support team to ensure a flawless on time delivery of event and maximum client satisfaction.

Provide quality service to customers in all assigned tasks, to provide services aligned with group’s quality of services and values at all times.

Conduct property inspections and make recommendations on set-up and planning to maximize on yield whilst continually striving to meet the needs of the customer.

Manage the day to day operations of the Events function by providing guidance, encouraging teamwork and facilitating related professional work processes in order to achieve high performance standards and liaise with internal and external parties at the appropriate levels to ensure smooth flow of operations.

Ensure compliance to all relevant Health, Safety and Environment management procedures and controls within a defined area of activity so that Company provides world class and luxurious hospitality services to its guests.

Motivate subordinates and contribute to the identification of opportunities for participating in change initiatives, programs and projects taking into account best practices, improvement of processes and productivity improvement.

Answer all incoming inquiries pertaining to weddings, solemnization, social events such as birthdays, anniversaries as well as official dinners to present services and Group’s know-how and explain how it fit client requirements.

Maintain a current knowledge of Company services in order to cross sell across the entire Company.

Conduct market benchmark in order to properly review products and branding and ensure creative selling and innovative edge over our competitors.

Evaluate the delivery of all events to ensure they meet the needs and requirements of customers and that their concerns were taken into account if any.

 

 

About You:


The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:


Essential:


Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality or relevant field from an accredited and renowned University.

At least 4 years of experience in relevant field (preferably within the international hospitality industry); 2 years of which in managerial position

Advanced knowledge of Meetings & Events operations

Very good command of speaking, reading, and writing English language.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

 Main Duties:

Provide courteous and professional service at all times.

Liaise and cooperate with front office, food and beverage, banqueting, and engineering departments to ensure all areas are ready as per the needs of the concerned department.

Be constantly aware of the room status to obtain maximum vacant rooms for sale.

Complete daily checks of all guest rooms on allocated section and report discrepancies found.

Check VIP rooms prior to guest arrival and thereafter daily to ensure that the standard is maintained for the duration of the guest stay.

Ensures that pantries are properly stocked with linen, guest supplies, cleaning supplies according to the established par stock.

Ensures all deep cleaning programmes are carried out as per set schedules.

Ensures that plants and flowers are looking fresh and in good condition and to inform the florist of any touch ups that need to be done.

Train and coach all housekeeping attendants according to the monthly training plan set-up by the departmental trainer.

Allocate room to housekeeping attendants according to the system implemented in the hotel.

Carry out other duties assigned by the Executive Housekeeper/ Housekeeping Manager.

 

 

About You:


The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:


At least 2 year experience at a 5 star hotel in Housekeeping department as a room attendant

Guest interaction experience

Familiar with the chemicals and equipment used in Housekeeping

Clear communication; effective verbal and written communication skills in English. Fluency in Arabic, French, Russian, German, and/or Italian is an advantage.

The main purpose of the role is to source and develop new business for the hotel in the assigned segment(s) guided by an experienced Sales team and the Director of Sales. The key responsibility is to implement sales activities to maximize sales, to effectively manage and network existing accounts and to identify and develop new business opportunities.


The main duties and responsibilities of this role:


Ensure comprehensive and complete coverage of own portfolio, covering all levels of accounts for a comprehensive client servicing, achieving targets and maximum productivity

Execute and support the operational aspects of business booked (e.g., generating proposal, writing contract, customer correspondence).

Regularly sell hotel rooms, meeting rooms, and food and beverage to client contacts.

Establish client base of individuals, organizations, associations, social, and/or corporate businesses through direct outside and inside selling to secure business for the hotel to ensure that room night sales and revenue goals are met or exceeded.

Negotiate guest room rates, meeting room rental, function space, and/or hotel services within approved booking guidelines.

Produce monthly sales-related reports and sales forecasts for assigned area of responsibility.

Identify business opportunities by spotting prospects and evaluating their position in the industry, researching and analysing sales options.

Sell products by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects, recommending solutions.

Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.

 

 

About You:

Essential:


Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major

Minimum 2 years’ experience in similar position in Dubai

Hospitality sales experience within 4* hotel industry in UAE

Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) and Knowledge of sales and marketing modules

UAE Driving License

The main purpose of the role is to be fully accountable for the operations of the department and outlets. Plan, organize and direct all processes of F&B operations to ensure the delivery of a quality food and beverage experience. Engage with guests and the community. Ensure all restaurants achieve maximum revenue and profit in line budgeted and forecasted projections.


The main duties and responsibilities of this role:


Assist in coordinating the organizational and administrative functions in all areas of the F&B Department to ensure delivery of set strategy and full compliance with Jumeirah standards

Monitor service and food and beverage standards in all outlets and kitchens ensuring quality and consistency, addressing under performance as necessary

Monitor closely the profitability of all food and beverage outlets in-order to provide solutions and optimal performance

Additional F&B / Leadership / Management qualifications valued

Previous experience as a Director of Food & Beverage / Food & Beverage Manager in dynamic F&B operations in a lifestyle hotel environment (4-5 star)

Understanding of non-outlet operations e.g., Room Service, Mini Bar, Meetings & Events, Poolside dining
