About the Job:


An opportunity has arisen for a Finance Manager to join our Jumeirah Group and Corporate team. The main duties and responsibilities of this role:


Treasury


Cash management and the placement of fixed deposits.

The reporting of the Group’s treasury activities to Senior Management and Dubai Holding. This includes, but is not limited to, the Group’s cash, loan and swap positions.

Managing key banking, credit card and payment relationships.

Ensuring compliance with applicable finance directives and loan facilities e.g., via quarterly / semi-annual payment and bank account reviews.

Managing the Group’s corporate credit card processes.

Liaising with credit card providers to identify new solutions for the Group.

Query resolution in respect to the Group’s payments, corporate credit card and banking operations.

Implementation of cash management solutions.

Working closely with corporate finance on group projects and debt repayments.

Monitoring and managing intra-group loans and swaps.

Forecasting of the Group’s loans and swaps.

Management of the Group’s bank accounts and mandates.

Insurance


The annual insurance renewal process.

The insurance claims process.

Managing queries associated with insurance.

Managing relationship with the Group’s insurance broker.

Tax and Corporate Accounting


Assisting in the completion of the Group’s VAT return, monthly reporting and book-keeping.

 

 

About you:


 The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:


Holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or Finance from a renowned university. 

Ability to coherently present issues in a concise manner to other Colleagues who have a non-finance background

Has experience in financial modelling

About the role


An exciting role has arisen for hard working Sous Chef to join the pre-opening and Culinary department at Jumeirah Muscat Bay Resort. The main purpose of this role is to perform and delegate tasks to a multi-cultural team and ensure a superior production and presentation.


Your key responsibilities will include:


Ability to handle multiple tasks as well as busy banqueting, outside catering & volume production with an eye to detail and presentation

Stay up to date with latest culinary trends and create ideas into better and consistent implementation

Handling of the fully implemented HACCP guidelines as well as general health & safety at workplace

Creating in conjunction with the Chef De Cuisine /Culinary Director of menus, buffets  and “specials” which meet the needs of the target market and in line with the operating concept for the restaurants

To maintain good working relationship with colleagues and all other departments

Assumes responsibility of increasing departmental sales and profit

To minimize payroll costs by maximizing the productivity and efficient scheduling of employees

 

 

About You


In order to be considered for this role, you should have a minimum of 5 years experience in the culinary profession with a minimum of 2 years in a management position (Junior Sous Chef or above). You should be able to handle multiple tasks as well as busy banqueting and volume operations.

Qualifications

About you:

Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 6 years of job-related

Must be qualified as a lawyer in a recognized jurisdiction
