Major duties and responsibilities


•    Work as part of a multidisciplinary team across a range of industries to assist companies in better understand and develop solutions to respond to the complex and evolving policy, regulatory, and business environment risks and opportunities associated with Corporate Sustainability and ESG.

•    Review/analyze corporate activities and provide recommendations related to enhance their sustainability/ESG strategy, methods, framework, and related tools to support clients in achieving their sustainability/ ESG objectives.

•    Assist with the review and development of sustainability/ESG programs and related reporting, such as materiality assessments, peer benchmarking, stakeholder engagement, gap analysis, metric/KPI identification (in alignment with common sustainability/ESG reporting standards such as GRI), and the preparation of reporting (internal and external) materials.

•    Work with engagement teams to perform fieldwork, including data collection, analysis, and work paper documentation; prepare, edit, and proofread narrative reports and presentations of observations and recommendations.

•    Support team leads with client relationships, business development efforts, and drafting thought leadership, as well as internal collateral and pieces of training on sustainability and ESG topics; work closely, but independently, under the direction of Managers, Directors, and Partners.

•    Ability to obtain and present appropriate assurance evidence, address the relevant assurance objectives, and demonstrates its relevance to the rest of the assurance. 

•    Document the results of their assurance work in accordance with KPMG Sustainability Assurance Methodology (KSAM), regulatory requirements, and using applicable IT systems and tools.

•    Collection and research of relevant sustainability data (i.e. benchmarking, trends, regulatory developments).

PROFILE


Education requirements: 


•    Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or equivalent and/or Bachelor’s degree in ESG/Sustainability or equivalent topcis.

•    Understanding of the following concepts and frameworks preferred:

o    Global Reporting Initiative (GRI)

o    Integrated Reporting (IR)

o    Sustainably Development Goals (SDGs)

o    United Nations Global Compact (UNGC)

o    Environment and Social Governance (ESG)

o    Occupational Health and Safety Frameworks (OSHA, OSHAD)

o    Social Return On Investment (SROI) or equivalent


Work experience requirements:


•    1-2 years of previous work experience 

•    Experience with ISAE 3000 assurance/ sustainability reporting is preferred

Major duties and responsibilities

•    Overall responsible for the audit as an in charge for medium and small clients. In case of large clients, act as semi senior.

o    Inventory, including the evaluation of the obsolescence provision

o    Investments, excluding complex financial instruments

•    Coaching, review and delegation of work performed by team members & ensure that the engagement reviews are completed within the given time

•    Updating of system documentation

•    Clearing review notes raised by the job in charge and mangers. Prior to management review conduct a thorough check on the working papers

•    Develop industry knowledge to complement functional skills

•    Compliance testing, including system work through

•    The audit of the client’s statutory records, internal controls and consolidated accounts

•    Attending stock counts and the follow up of the counts

•    Participates in the pre engagement planning, with team members and client staff when needed. Discuss client’s need/expectations, team roles, budgets and other things necessary to carry out the engagement. 

•    Understand the clients business, products, performance and accounting policies.

•    Adhere to the KPMG code of conduct and all KPMG risk management policies and procedures

•    Perform effective wrap-up of engagement, assisting manager/partner after leaving the field, clearing all review notes, assisting manager with report issuance/concurring review process, placing files to disks/network and complying with document retention policy, binding and filing work papers in the office.



PROFILE

Education requirements: 

•    Bachelor in Commerce or Completed A levels or equivalent

•    ACCA - Should have completed a minimum of 9 papers (F1-F9)

•    CPA – Complete 2 papers

•    ICAEW – Complete Professional Stage


Work experience requirements:

•    2yrs – 3yrs and above post graduate experience 

•    Knowledge in accounting concepts

•    Computer Literacy

Perform simulated/ tabletop cyber war gaming exercises to test for incident response readiness of clients.


Help develop and refine KPMG’s in-house cyber-response tools


Carry out vulnerability assessments and technical assessments including running penetration testing tools across application and network and assess and review results on affected systems


Ability to assess client incident response capability maturity


 


Experience & Qualifications:


5 to 8 years’ experience in Cyber response


CEH/ OSCP/OSCE/ GWAPT/LPT/GMOB/CISSP/CISM and other relevant certifications


 


Essential Skills:


 


Knowledge of evolving cyber threat landscape and relevant attacks


Experience across threat hunting/ compromise assessments


Strong IT and network skills – knowledge of common enterprise technologies – Windows and Linux OS, network devices, etc.


Proficient programming skill-sets to develop scripting tools.


Proficiency innetwork security/traffic/log analysis; Linux/Mac/Unix operating system disk forensics (ext2/3/4, HFS+, and/or APFS file systems), advanced memory forensics, static and dynamic malware analysis / reverse engineering, advanced mobile device forensics


Experience in industry computer forensic tools such as X-Ways, EnCase, FTK, Internet Evidence Finder (IEF) / AXIOM, TZWorks, and/or Cellebrite

Flawless communication skills in English. Arabic is beneficial.
