Research and Development Chef (Looking for Sous Chefs)- Kitopi, Dubai
What You'll Do
To ideate, create and execute menus for multiple cuisines.
To coordinate with central production kitchen to regularly improve quality
To conduct regular health and safety audits in all stores and to take prompt and effective remedial action to ensure that the restaurants are operating well above the minimum requirements of the brand and Company.
To ensure the kitchen, including machines, furniture, equipment, and utensils are always clean and in working condition, promoting a hygienic and safe environment.
Plan orders of equipment or ingredients according to identified shortages
What We Look For
2-year degree from an accredited university in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major.
5 years experience in the culinary, food and beverage, or related professional area.
Experience in creation, planning, and management of menus and recipes.
A creative approach to the production of high quality food
Ability to build relationships, internal and external, to the Kitopi
Excellent planning, multi-tasking, and organizational skills
Proficiency with computers and computer programs, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Strong interpersonal skills and a proven record of accomplishment in managing and motivating people.
Excellent interpersonal, communication and written skills.
