CORE PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

To maximize production and thereby profit to the farm by planning and organizing all farm maintenance activities within his area of responsibility and making the most efficient use of all resources at his disposal. To develop, implement and manage standard operating procedures, preventative maintenance programs and replacement planning for a broad range of agricultural, industrial, and animal feeding equipment.

 

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION:

Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering.

 

NON ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION:

Able to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications, Proficient in identification of engineering materials and machine parts.

 

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

7 years experience in maintenance management of large industrial company.

 

COMPETENCIES:

- Administrative capacity and man management skills.

- Exposure to computerized stock control systems.

- Sound knowledge of troubleshooting and diagnostic fault finding.

- Possess positive mental attitude, constructive and solution-oriented.

- Influencing human behavior in many kinds of situation, counseling, learning from others, and increasing insight into problems.

CORE PURPOSE OF THE JOB: 

To plan and organize assigned farm mechanical maintenance staff so that the broad range of agricultural, industrial and animal feeding machinery and equipment is serviced, maintained and operated in accordance with ALMARAI SOP. 

To train staff in order to ensure that competent and sufficient numbers of maintenance staff are available for the assigned farm sites. 

ACADEMIC / PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION: 

B S in Mechanical Engineering. 

NON ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION: 

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE: 8-10 years experience in a workshop or service center environment; 5 years of managing a large scale maintenance operation; Experience with maintenance of large scale agricultural and industrial equipment, and petrol and diesel engine Vehicles; 

Fully operational in the use of structured maintenance systems with a particular emphasis on a planned approach to preventive maintenance and recording and analyzing data. 

COMPETENCIES: Exposure to computerized stock control systems; Excellent communicator with good influencing and person management skills; A sound knowledge of troubleshooting and diagnostic fault finding; A sound experience with all types of agricultural and mechanical machinery; High degree of confidence and or decision making capability; Focused under pressure, self motivated, assertive, confident, fair, and open-minded.

The Role / Opportunity

 

The Senior Production Manager  (Poultry) will be responsible to manage self-directing, multi-functional teams to efficiently process and pack poultry products to meet internal customer order requirements within management performance parameters ensuring adherence to defined Product Specifications, Quality & Safety Standards.

 

Successful candidate will be based in Hail, Saudi Arabia.  It is 550 km from Riyadh and 120km from Hail on remote site with limited resources but offers good working environment.

 

 Candidates must have the following to be shortlisted:

 

Bachelor’s degree preferably in Poultry Processing Technology or Engineering or similar discipline

At least 10 years’ experience in Poultry Processing Plant (with processing capacity of 12,000 birds per hour or more)

Strong communication in English language

Experienced in similar position within a poultry /meat or food environment

Experienced in production of poultry products and automated process control

Preferably with HACCP Certification, knowledge on ISO 22000 and SAP
