3to 5 years’ experience as a technician for ITI holder

 


Knowledge and Skills


Industrial Technical Institute (ITI) certified Auto Technician Course.

Vocational Automobile Training Course

Diploma in Automotive Engineering

Additional technical skills, if any, are an additional advantage.

In addition to mechanical skills, should have basic electrical knowledge.

Trouble shooting and problem solving skills

Should have attended basic technical courses from Vehicle Manufacturing companies


Essential Roles and Responsibilities


Functional Roles and Responsibilities


Collect job orders and the necessary materials/ tools/ equipment, to carry out the repairs and maintenance on the customers vehicles in accordance with the manufacturers repair techniques.


Ensure accurate fault diagnosis and effective utilization of time allocated for the repairs. Report to Team Leader of any delays in repairs due to unavailability of parts or any other reason.


Ensure all additional repairs are authorized; parts are booked to the repair order. Incase of warranty repair/ parts exchange program , return removed part to the parts department in the same carton to facilitate audit processes and getting necessary credit if applicable. Incase of retail jobs keep the old parts inside the vehicle except batteries and parts which may cause stain on the interior trim/ carpet of the vehicle.


Service personal tools, keep the lifts and work area clean and comply with the health and safety standards.


Upgrade knowledge by regularly doing web based courses and by attending class room trainings.


Keep all personal tools safe. Any breakages or accidents must be reported to the Team Leader / Supervisor immediately/Tool room for replacement.


Ensure efficiency and productivity is maintained above 100%.


Ensure proper clocking on/off in the system and do write up in the repair order as per the prescribed procedure.


Any unused parts must be returned or stored properly as per company procedure. Used parts must be disposed in an environment friendly manner.


To work extra hours incase the job needs to be completed to ensure customer satisfaction as per Team Leader’s requirement.

Follow workplace occupational health and safety procedures


Remove and replace vehicle body panels, panel sections and ancillary fittings


Use and maintain workplace tools and equipment

Job Purpose


To plan, initiate and conduct sales process with the customers visiting the showroom or while on sales call and contribute to achieving the sales targets.

Provide highest degree of customer service and satisfaction at all times in accordance with the company’s sales policies and procedures to maximize future recommended or repeat sales

Ensure that the customer is aware of all available extras, accessories and warranties.

Notify the customers of delay, changes in the requirements and specifications etc., if any, ensuring smooth conclusion of vehicle handover.

Provide customers with qualified advice on vehicle finance and insurance facilities.

Participate in seasonal sales campaign and promotions to maximize sales penetration

Qualifications & Experience


Degree in any discipline or through automotive vocational route

3 – 5 years solid experience in automotive sales in the UAE preferably in luxury automotive sales.

Good knowledge of automobile sales gained through formal training or work experience.

Preferably bilingual (Arabic and English)

Job Purpose


To plan, manage and lead the showroom sales to achieve sales target and to ensure smooth, efficient and effective functioning of showroom.


Roles & Responsibilities 


Plan and execute such strategies as to ensure that the budgeted target for showroom is achieved or exceeded in volume and profit term

Should have good knowledge and exposure of Automotive market in UAE

Graduate in any discipline

Job Purpose


To implement, maintain, and manage a proactive security, health, and safety programs in order to ensure that ATM facilities are adequately protected against physical se2curity and safety threats and risks related to people, premises, and assets.


Roles and Responsibilities


Implement and monitor Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) management programs, processes, practices, guidelines and emergency preparedness, disaster response and business continuity plans that are aligned to and based upon international best practice, in coordination with the various department heads so as to mitigate health, safety and environment risks relative to the various industry segments that the company operates within

Ensure pre-defined safety standards are followed in office building in relation to ergonomics, fire safety, emergency safety, healthy living promotions and communications, environment health, gas leaks, electricity, etc.

Implement ATG HSE framework and methodology that ensures a regular review of the status and efficacy of occupational health and safety programs and practices relevant to all ATM sites, in order to ensure that gaps, legal non-compliance and HSE threats and risks are identified, mitigation and remedial actions are promptly communicated to and implemented by concerned departments

Ensure incidents relating to security and HSE management are promptly reported, escalated, investigated and resolved as dictated by policies and procedures defined by ATG Asset Protection and Risk Management.

Liaise with HR for security related trainings and IMS related trainings, and ensure the security team training plans are maintained and up to date for all security staff

Manage HSE training through HR and/or third party vendor, and facilitate approved in site training sessions for all site based employees to improve their effectiveness

Ensure incidents related to breaches of security as well as health, safety, and environment, are investigated in a timely manner

Conduct regular security and HSE reviews, and ensure that the physical security processes, procedures, and systems that are in place comply with ATM policy and standards

Supervise third party security providers deployed across ATM and liaise with ATG Asset Protection in case of recommendations for improvement and/or non-compliance with contractual terms and conditions

Manage projects related to the environment such as recycling, energy saving, etc.

Ensure proper controls are implemented for security systems (i.e. CCTV, access control, intruder alarms, and traffic control systems) and that these are effectively utilized and maintained at all times

Work on proper compliance to standards in order to maintain ISO certification

Provide leadership and direction to subordinates towards the achievement of goals and objectives

Guide, motivate, and evaluate subordinates on their performance, productivity and progress, while identifying training needs of team members to improve efficiency and ensure conformity with standard procedures and practices

Ensure that team members acquire the required skills and knowledge through appropriate training programs including product/brand related training, while identifying the appropriate gaps and training costs/benefits to ensure budgetary parameters are met

Ensure potential successors are identified, developed, and trained for succession planning purposes

 


Qualifications & experience


Bachelor’s Degree within any discipline

Certificate in loss prevention, security management and health and safety

Certificate in ISO Auditor/ Implementer for any of the following: ISO 9001, 14001, 28001, or ISO 22301

Minimum five to eight years of experience in a large commercial establishment, within the field of HSE and Security management

Previous relevant work experience in implementation of ISO Standards

Required to commute across regions within the UAE
