Senior Plumber & Plumbing Technicians- Juma Al Majid Group, UAE
Job Purpose:
Follow up for Repair, maintain, PPM, site inspections, Reporting for all PLUMBING Systems (Domestic Water Systems, Chiller/HVAC Systems, FF Systems).
Attend and solve all PLUMBING Systems (Domestic Water Systems, Chiller/HVAC Systems, FF Systems) complaints received by the premise\'s occupant in a short time and good quality work. Senior Plumber oversees the work done by Plumbing Technicians on a job site. Senior Plumber and I Plumbing Technicians to carry out electrical & mechanical fault diagnosis, remedial repairs, calibration and planned preventative maintenance of the PLUMBING Systems (Domestic Water Systems, Chiller/HVAC Systems, FF Systems). Installing, maintaining and repairing plumbing systems and fixtures. Fitting and repairing various household appliances. Cutting, welding and assembling pipes, tubes, fittings and fixtures. Inspecting and testing plumbing systems for safety, functionality and code compliance.
Principle Accountability:
1. Solves and attend all kind of PLUMBING Systems (Domestic Water Systems, Chiller/HVAC Systems, FF Systems) complaints such as rectifying water leakages, water low pressures, piping welding connections, installation, overhaul & troubleshooting, testing, and etc.
2. To carry out Planned, Reactive & Corrective Maintenance Task.
3. Ensure tasks are completed within the required response time based on priorities. Execute PPM tasks as per the schedules and frequencies.
4. Submit the daily reports to the supervisor.
5. Monitor the spare parts, tools, and equipment required to execute the maintenance work.
6. Communicate with supervisors in case of a major breakdown, Emergency tasks, abnormal readings, or issues in the PLUMBING Systems (Domestic Water Systems, Chiller/HVAC Systems, FF Systems). Pumping stations, water tanks and associated accessories, Chillers, Freezers, split units, AHU, fan coils - maintain the mentioned machines
7. Installation/ repairing of PVC water, drainage piping; Copper piping/ tubing, GI pipe work
8. Brazing/ welding/ gas cutting works
9. Sanitary equipment installation and repair works
10. Installation/ repair of PRV station, valves etc.
11. Reading and interpreting blueprints to assess or plan plumbing installations and layouts.
12. Installing, maintaining and repairing plumbing systems and fixtures.
13. Fitting and repairing various household appliances.
14. Cutting, welding and assembling pipes, tubes, fittings, and fixtures.
15. Inspecting and testing plumbing systems for safety, functionality, and code compliance.
16. Follow the safety regulations and procedures while performing maintenance work.
17. Handling customer queries and responding to call outs.
18. Preparing cost estimates.
19. Competent to operate PLUMBING Systems (Domestic Water Systems, Chiller/HVAC Systems, FF Systems). Pumping stations, water tanks and associated accessories, Chillers, Freezers, split units, AHU, fan coils - maintain the mentioned machines and provide readings & records on a daily basis (as required).
20. In charge of any Plumbing system must make inspections and assess potential problems.
21. These professionals also recommend changes or upgrades to Plumbing systems to increase productivity and functionality.
22. Perform scheduled maintenance and preventative repairs on all Plumbing systems.
23. Follow up with the all sub-contractor and inspect their PPM activities.
24. Attend W\\0, complete the required job, and submit to the supervisor.
25. Generate all kind of reports, condition reports, renovation report.
26. Follows the preventive maintenance program planned by the MEP Supervisor
27. Assists the other field technicians when working inside the electrical panels or control panels for PLUMBING Systems (Domestic Water Systems, Chiller/HVAC Systems, FF Systems). (ex. HVAC, Electrical, or Mechanical technicians).
28. Reports to the in-charge supervisor if any anomaly has been happened or observed to takeimmediate action.
29. Follows all the in-charge instructions to keep the equipment\'s well maintained and in good working condition.
30. To exercise a personal duty of care for own and teams health, safety and welfare and for those affected by the acts or omissions and promote the same within their area of responsibility.
31. Ensure that a good HSQE and Information security culture is promoted within the department and among peers.
32. To use safety equipment (including PPE) as required and intended and observe that this is also enforced within the department and among sub-contractors and third parties working in JAM controlled premises/systems.
Minimum Requirement:
• Minimum 5 years\' experience and having good hands maintenance working experience on the following systems, PLUMBING Systems (Domestic Water Systems, Chiller/HVAC Systems, FF Systems). Pumping stations, water tanks and associated accessories, Chillers, Freezers, split units, AHU, fan coils and associated equipment.
• Work experience in the above similar Plumbing systems typically for around 5 years.
• Past experience in (District cooling plant) water-cooled chillers, cooling tower operations, and maintenance as an advantage.
• Knowledge of CAFM system, KPI & SLA.
• Good reporting skills.
• Gulf Region experience preferred.
