CHILLER/ HVAC Technicians- Juma Al Majid Goup,UAE
Job Purpose:
Follow up for repair, maintain, PPM, site inspections, Reporting for CHILLER & HVAC systems.
Attend and solve all CHILLER & HVAC systems complaints received by the premise\'s occupant in a I short time and good quality work. CHILLER & HVAC Technician to carry out electrical & mechanical fault diagnosis, remedial repairs, calibration and planned preventative maintenance of the chillers & HVAC systems.
Priniciple Accountabilities:
1. Solves and attend all kind of Chiller & HVAC systems complaints such as rectifying short circuits, replacement of Chiller & HVAC systems components and equipments (switches -sockets, fuses, capacitor, contactors, relays), low refrigerant, refrigerant recovery, cooling coils & condenser coil blocked & cleaning, poor air flow, compressor installation, overhaul & troubleshooting, testing, and etc ..
2. To carry out Planned, Reactive & Corrective Maintenance Task.
3. Ensure tasks are completed within the required response time based on priorities. Execute PPM tasks as per the schedules and frequencies.
4. Submit the daily reports to the supervisor.
5. Monitor the spare parts, tools, and equipment required to execute the maintenance work.
6. Communicate with supervisors in case of a major breakdown, Emergency tasks, abnormal readings, or issues in the AIR-COOLED & WATER COOLED CHILLERS, FAHU, AHU, FCU, DX Type Package Units, Split AC Units, Heat Exchangers, Pumps, Motors, Dosing Systems, Compressors, VAV/VRF/VFD Systems, CPM/BMS Systems, Cold Store systems, Cooling Fans.
7. Follow the safety regulations and procedures while performing maintenance work.
8. Competent to operate AIR-COOLED & WATER COOLED CHILLERS, FAHU, AHU, FCU, DX Type Package Units, Split AC Units, Heat Exchangers, Pumps, Motors, Dosing Systems, Compressors, VAV/VRF/VFD Systems, CPM/BMS Systems, Cold Store systems, Cooling Fans, and provide readings & records on a daily basis (as required).
9. In charge of any Chiller & HVAC system must make inspections and assess potential problems.
10. These professionals also recommend changes or upgrades to Chiller & HVAC systems to increase productivity and functionality.
11. Perform scheduled maintenance and preventative repairs on all Chiller & HVAC systems.
12. Follow up with the all sub-contractor and inspect their PPM activities.
13. Attend W\\O, complete the required job, and submit to the supervisor.
14. Generate all kind of reports, condition reports, renovation report.
15. Follows the preventive maintenance program planned by the MEP Supervisor or Chiller Supervisor.
16. Assists the other field technicians when working inside the electrical panels or control panels (ex. Electrical, or Mechanical technicians).
17. Reports to the in-charge supervisor if any anomaly has been happened or observed to take immediate action.
18. Follows all the in-charge instructions to keep the equipment\'s well maintained and in good working condition.
19. To exercise a personal duty of care for own and teams health, safety and welfare and for those affected by the acts or omissions and promote the same within their area of responsibility.
20. Ensure that a good HSQE and Information security culture is promoted within the department and among peers.
21. To use safety equipment (including PPE) as required and intended and observe that this is also enforced within the department and among sub-contractors and third parties working in JAM controlled premises/systems.
Minimum Requirement:
• Minimum 5 years\' experience and having good hands maintenance working experience on the following systems AIR-COOLED & WATER COOLED CHILLERS, FAHU, AHU, FCU, DX Type Package Units, Split AC Units, Heat Exchangers, Pumps, Motors, Dosing Systems, Compressors, VAV/VRF/VFD Systems, CPM/BMS Systems, Cold Store systems, Cooling Fans, and associated equipment.
• Work experience in the above similar Chiller & HVAC systems typically for around 5 years.
• Past experience in (District cooling plant) water-cooled chillers, cooling tower operations, and maintenance as an advantage.
• Knowledge of CAFM system, KPI & SLA.
• Good reporting skills.
• Gulf Region experience preferred.
