About the Role:

Oversee the overall functions of the accounting team for Saudi Arabia to ensure correctness of financial statement, compliance with deadlines set by the various authorities/Ferrero Group as well as implementation and review of relevant controls. Responsible for credit management, account receivables, payables and treasury activities, as well VAT and Taxes related reporting and filing. SAP Experience is a must.


Main Responsibilities:

In charge of accounting functions of the company (AR, AP, GL)

Review the monthly management accounts for reporting purposes

Review preparation for balance sheet and cashflow

Dealing with external auditors and tax advisors on statutory audit and tax issues

Oversee monthly and year end closes including reconciling accounts, reporting and generating closing entries and reports

Monitor the inter-company reconciliations proces

Manage the credit risks of the company, through defining procedures and ensure their implementation

Understand and comprehend Zakat, Tax, WHT, TP and VAT regulation and guidelines

To prepare a summary of any updates on regulation and guidelines

Understanding regulations and rules related to objections against GAZT assessments including, deadlines, formalities, communications, submissions, and and the GSTC working mechanizm.

To prepare and review all GAZT filings in lights of the guidelines and regulations on a timely manner.

Ensure treasury activities are in compliance with treasury policies, accounting guidelines, governance policies and internal controls

Ensure sufficient finance to meet the company’s business needs

Review payment processing and fraud prevention functions.

Monitor day-to-day management of the cash position of the company

Review the preparation of reports/forecast of cashflow for operational and reporting use

Manage bank relationships


Who we are looking for:

Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance

Over 10 years of experience in Accounting


Commercial experience

Experience in SAP ECC is a must, HFM a plus

Experience in process improvement

Arabic and English are required for this role

Capability to lead teams

Job Description

Client is a global exporter of fertilizers and largest producer in the MENA region. The client is looking to hire a HSE Manager / Director.


Role : 

• Develop the HSE policy for the group, in compliance with the corporate requirements, national and international laws and regulations, certification standards and sustainability requirements.


• Strengthen the groups Process Safety Management (PSM) system.


• Advise and challenge management in translating the HSE policy of the operational costs into annual and longer-term HSE plans and in setting priorities and short-term and long-term targets.


• Build and maintain a group wide HSE platform, making use of/ sharing HSE best practice within the group and making sure the HSE organization is easy to access and visible for Management and employees.


• Organize Product Stewardship projects and activities


• Ensure that the group maintains valid international certifications that are required to serve the relevant markets.


• Monitor the implementation of the HSE policy, performance and progress of the group, and report to management.


• Ensure proper reporting of the group HSE within the Management line, to the Board and to the relevant corporate staff departments.


• Organize and co-execute HSE inspections and audits within the group Operational costs.


• Take the lead in investigating HSE related incidents.


• Advise on and facilitate HSE training programs.


• Stay abreast of relevant HSE developments in general and or relevant laws and regulations and anticipate on consequences for the Group.


• Participate in internal and external HSE-related working groups.


• Oversee the HSE projects and ensure from proper budget


• Review the subcontractor’s safety programs and ensure they are compliant with corporate, OSHA and client regulations


Requirement : 


• At least 10-15 years of broad Manufacturing experience, and preferably also track record in HSE leadership


• Preferably regional experience in MENA region


• Industrial and operations HSE knowledge


• High standards with regards to discretion, ethics and compliancy


• Experience in listed company is a ‘plus’


• Flexible, creative and entrepreneurial attitude, high ability to changing circumstances


• Ability to implement behavioral- based safety techniques to improve/ maintain safety performance


• Ability to establish positive relationship with the shareholders


• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills


• Cultural awareness


• Well-traveled, ability to travel regularly within the MENA region


• Living in – or able to relocate to – Abu Dhabi, UAE

Your responsibilities

The Site HSE Officer provides specialist information to the Project Management Team, field personnel and Sub-contract staff and will be present at work locations on site all the time.

Provide field support to Construction Manager and Construction Supervision in implementing HSE matters.

Advise Project and site personnel including Sub-contractors within their allocated workplace of the HZI and Dubai Municipality requirements.

Ensure the requirements of the HSE Plan, relevant procedures, work method statements, TRA are consistently and comprehensively implemented on site.

Co-ordinate the workplace inspection program and assist with regular internal HSE audits of the system and/ or associated processes, procedures, and work practices

Lead and assist in the development, implementation/ delivery, and revision of the HSE induction and training program.

Ensure that all personnel in their assigned coverage area have completed the compulsory HSE inductions / plant safety orientation / job skills specific training, and organize one as appropriate.

Lead and assist in the identification, assessment, and development of control mechanisms for hazards in the workplace.

Assist in the investigation and reporting of incidents on site as required.

Ensure HSE information is systematically disseminated to all personnel.

Co-ordinate the collection, recording and analysis of HSE data.

Ensure that the requirements of all PTW system/ procedures are understood and implemented.

Provide information to site Construction Supervision to promote HSE issues/ lessons learned etc.

Participate in Toolbox talks, HSE Campaigns, periodic safety meetings and related site activities.

Perform data-entry, documentation, printing and filling duties.

Manage and distribute HSE documents.

Compile and prepare reports on weekly and monthly basis.

Manage the HSE Action Tracking Register, performing trend analysis and following up to ensure HSE actions are closed out satisfactorily.

Your experiences

Having a Bachelor Degree in Science or any relevant field

NEBOSH IGC or equivalent

Additional HSE Trainings / certificates would be added advantage

Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in HSE with at least 2 years’ experience in HSE in construction, mechanical & electrical installation and/or commissioning projects / operations in the oil & gas, power plant, or petrochemical industries. 

Have strong understanding of the HSE issues, practices and behavioral aspects in the Oil & Gas / Power Plant EPC business.

Ability to conduct HSE orientation / induction/HSE awareness sessions to workers

Ability to understand and implement HSE plans, Welfare plans, HSE Procedures

Emergency response procedures/plans and site specific HSE procedures / work instructions

Conducting  all  types  of  Quality/HSE  audits within LIN SCAN along with Quality personnel

Developing and executing the  HSE Plans

Execute all other tasks as requested by the Executive Team within the assigned job role.


Skills/Experience:


University Degree  in Engineering (Preferably Industrial / Mechanical / Electro Mechanical / Electrical)

Minimum 3 years of experience in HSE activities in Engineering Industry

Experienced in Oil and Gas Industry

Certification for Lead Auditor ISO 45001, Nebosh HSE certification, NDT L2 as an option
