Currently we are looking for Health, Safety & Environment Specialist who will be responsible to support administration of health, safety and environment activities to mitigate hazardous conditions within the workplace and external environments, and provide employees with a safe and healthy working environment in line with the business plans and requirements, corporate guidelines and policies in Oman, Country.

Your task will be:


Support and help maintain the Global HSE Initiatives for Zero Harm of DHL Industrial Projects on both an operational and strategic level;

Responsible for ensuring full compliance with DHL IP global HSE policies, procedures, plans and work instruction and all regional legislation applicable to the project for operations that are being conducted;

Help to promote DHL IP HSE policies and objectives within the project of assignment          and liaise with the Regional

HSE Manager on all matters related to HSE for DHL IP;

Report project and site-specific data on HSE performance to the Regional HSE Manager including HSE KPI leading and lagging data in line with the HSE reporting for DHL IP;

Responsible for ensuring that all subcontractors engaged by the project are aware of and comply with DHL and client HSE requirements;

Support in the compilation of monthly statistical reports for the Regional HSE Manager and the timely reporting of such data when requested;

Assist the localized project operations staff to assess & monitor the HSE capabilities & activities of subcontractors and ensure Regional HSE Manager is kept aware of any significant changes to the scopes or requirements;

Provide HSE assistance for project operations in ports, warehouses and operational sites where required and to monitor HSE performance during such operations;

Support Regional HSE Manager in administration/implementation of HSE training & development programs at project locations, specifically local operations personnel;

Advise site teams (company and subcontractors) of company and client/site specific HSE requirements, regulations, expectations, and best practices under guidance from Regional HSE Manager;

Identify and advise local project staff of means to eliminate hazards, unsafe conditions, and unsafe acts; work with company, client and subcontractor management toward achieving an injury-free workplace;

Participate in Incident root cause analysis on all Significant Near Misses or reportable major events and help prepare full incident/accident reports of such events under guidance from the Regional HSE Manager

Job Purpose:

Key Responsibilities:

Teaching using the provided lesson plans (may also be asked to develop such plans based on provided pacing charts as relevant and needed) for their subject(s) in order to be able to teach using the SABIS® point system.

Aiding in duties that may include testing children, substituting for absent teachers , organizing children for lunches and buses, controlling traffic (vehicles and people), and other administrative duties that may be assigned to him/her by the school SABIS® management.

Preparing and participating in activity plans for all such student life related events such as but not limited to art, open house and physical education in coordination with the student life coordinator.

Attending training sessions when needed and as per the request of school management in order to enhance their understanding of the SABIS® system improving their performance

Performing such other related tasks or projects as they arise and as delegated by the school SABIS® management.
