Job role:

1. Assist the Administration Manager with both clerical and administrative support

2. Booking air tickets, rooms and conference facilities

3. Ordering and maintaining stationery and other office equipment

4. Organizing and storing paperwork, documents and computer-based information;

5. Photocopying and printing various documents, sometimes on behalf of other

colleagues. And all other works required by the Administration Department


Qualification and Key skills:

1. Bachelor degree is preferable.

2. Must be well-versed with Microsoft office tools (word, PowerPoint, Visio, outlook

etc..).

3. Excellent command over Arabic and English (both written and spoken).

4. Translation and Editing skills will be an added advantage.

Other requirements :

1. Transferable and valid 18 article visa

2. Valid Kuwait driving license with car

Main Responsibilities


Attend meetings, take down minutes when requested and perform any other reasonable duties as required by the Director Food & Beverage

Manage the diary of the Director Food & Beverage in the most effective way and respond promptly to emails as required

Verify and adjust the F&B management team clock in and clock out records and maintain the attendance system on a daily basis and update the vacation plan frequently

Process expense reports, coordinating the submission of proposals, planning meetings and maintaining departmental database records

Assist the Director Food & Beverage by creating Power Point presentations, Excel spreadsheets and type any letters and memorandums as designated with proper spelling and correct format


Requirements

Minimum of 2 year of experience working as a secretary or as an administrative assistant

Strong administrative skills and ability to handle telephone calls and written correspondence professionally

Ability to work long hours with a strong focus on administrative excellence

Competent computer skills including MS Office or equivalent

Perform job with attention to details and the ability to organize and handle multiple tasks

Ability to set up and maintain paper and electronic filing systems for records, correspondence, and other material

Your day to day

We are currently looking for qualified Carpenter within our Engineering department to cut, fabricate and install wooden and other structures according to specifications. This job entails working in diverse settings to produce steady and functional infrastructure and products. Main job responsibilities include: • Apply Trade Expertise as a carpenter • Maintenance of the indoors and outdoors as requested by Shift Leader. • Responsible of maintaining and decorating the interior and exterior of the building. • Carry out preventive maintenance program to ensure facility and equipment are maintained for its operation. • Ensure the safety and comfort of guests and that any requests for service are handled in a courteous and efficient fashion. • Maintain the hotel in your qualified trade to the desired standard. • Daily inspection and rectification of all public areas in relation to your trade. • Complete work orders as requested by the Shift Engineer or Chief Engineer in relation to your trade and other directives to meet customer requirements. • Initiate/identify project work required in light of your trade throughout the hotel. • Use initiative and foresight to undertake tasks outlined within the preventative maintenance program without the direction of the Shift Engineer/Chief Engineer. •. Carry out any minor repairs to guest rooms or public areas.



What we need from you

Carpenter shall be trade qualified and licensed to work as per the local code requirements, with a diploma in the trade or equivalent and basic high school college qualification. You shall have a proven knowledge in the installation, commissioning, operation, maintenance and repair of the equipment. Innovative; Pro-active and reliable. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated with a hands-on and flexible approach and be able to adapt to unpredictable events. Team player. Good level of English is essential; Demonstrate understanding and awareness of all policies and procedures relating to Health, Hygiene and Fire Life Safety.

A Carpenter is responsible for maintaining the building and facilities to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience while building required items and preparing preventative maintenance schedules.


What will I be doing?

As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for maintaining the building and facilities, build required items, and maintain carpentry tools to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience. A Carpenter will also be required to prepare preventative maintenance schedules and perform inspections. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:


Maintaining the building and facilities including doors, windows, furniture and other items

Complete the Guest room maintenance schedule on time

Build required items including specialty furniture

Operate and maintain carpentry tools and equipment

Assist with the delivery of other related services

Keep a daily log of tasks

Prepare a preventative maintenance schedule

Take measurements, install fixtures, and make necessary adjustments

Ensure quality inspections are carried out in line with company standards

Ensure good relationships are built with internal and external customers

Perform special projects and other responsibilities as assigned

Follow all Health and Safety rules within the Department and the hotel
