What’s On Your Plate?


Supporting anything and everything in relation to talabat Communications externally and internally. 


Major accountabilities will include Leadership Profiling (including a calendar of interviews in Bahrain , as well as speaking opportunities), LinkedIn posts and external stakeholder comms 


Daily responsibilities will include creating content such as article press release, speech, briefing document, talking points, key messaging, and social media caption


Providing support on various communications projects (example: video edits, creative PR stunts, influencer and media outreach as well as event management)


Supporting on crisis communications


Supporting different departments (Marketing, HR, Sales and Logistics)  with PR in integrated campaigns and influencer outreach


Being the primary contact for Arabic and English Media relations and manage media partnerships


Assist in onboarding different charities on the application and supporting their requests.  


Execute CSR campaigns, and identify CSR opportunities


Regularly update the PR calendar with what is happening in the market


What Did We Order?


A minimum of 4 years of experience of working in communications, with Corporate and Consumer Communications experience


Excellent written and oral Arabic and English communications skills.


 Ability to draft content (e.g. press releases, captions, scripts) 


Experience and knowledge in copywriting, proofreading and editing


Research media coverage and industry trends


Experience of working in a fast-paced, dynamic organization


ability to work with multiple stakeholders 


A proven track record of supporting the development of impactful integrated communications campaigns


Ability to execute and report campaigns and results. 


Strong media and influencers relations in the Bahrain (Arabic and  English )

Responsibilities

The 6 months program begins in Jan, 2022 and is divided into two key phases:


Phase one: Onboarding & Skilling Bootcamp 

Onboarding and introduction to Microsoft’s mission, culture, strategy & structure.

Technical skilling to obtain globally recognized Microsoft technical certifications.

Professional and soft skilling courses & internationally recognized certifications in project management, change management, effective interpersonal skills, creativity and innovation, time management, alongside a set of other professional skills required by the job market.

 


Phase two: On-the-job training 


Joining a specific department in Microsoft for on-the-job shadowing and training.

Mentorship and coaching sessions.

Supporting Microsoft teams in digital transformation projects.

Advanced technology trainings including AI, Machine Learning & Cloud Computing.

Participate in Microsoft Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities.

Qualification

Students in their last semester of their Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math Bachelor or Master degree meeting the qualifications below:

Excellent English communication skills.

The primary role of the Quality Lead Engineer is to manage quality support functions including quality planning, preventive action, non-conformance control, corrective action, assessments, and quality reporting and review for the project. This position will develop relationships and draw on the resources of the global WorleyParsons Quality community. 


RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITY

Quality Management 

Work with the Corporate, Regional, Location Quality Manager and the Management Team to ensure: 

•    Management Plans and dependent systems and procedures are developed and implemented in compliance with the requirements of the Enterprise Management System (EMS) consistent with a specific location, regulatory and contractual requirements 

•    Personnel are suitably trained in plan requirements and to access and apply dependent systems, procedures, and reference materials via EMS, WPMP, and the Knowledge Communities as applicable. 

•    Effectiveness of quality planning to ensure that process controls and prerequisite product and service verification and inspection arrangements are established and resourced, consistent with criticality, statutory and contractual obligations. 

•    Effective planning and implementation of design control, verification, validation, and review activities. 

•    Effective implementation and coordination of vendor assessment and inspection activities. 

•    Effective implementation and verification of construction inspection and testing activities. 

•    Effective implementation of non-conformance, corrective action, and preventive action management processes. 

•    Establishment of an effective risk-based assessment program. • Effectiveness of Management Review Programs including collection analysis and reporting of performance measures. 


Capability Enhancement 

•    Participate in the global quality learning community initiative to enable quality professionals to communicate with each other and receive updates on the latest developments.

HVAC Construction Supervisor-Worley, Bahrain

 HVAC Construction Supervisor-Worley, Bahrain


The primary role of the HVAC Supervisor is to support and guide the HVAC contractor personnel & relevant project team within the mechanical discipline in achieving efficient development and safe, on-time, on budget, project completion. The position is accountable for the safety, quality, and timeliness of the contractor’s works within the appointed area/scope. This includes HSE implementation, contractor adherence to the latest drawings, and quality control by the maintenance of QC check sheets in accordance with the quality plan.


RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITY

•Ensure that contractors comply with all aspects of the Worksite HSE Plan and policy; site regulations, permit to work, Worley, and Customer requirements.

•Perform HVAC construction activities as per drawings, specifications, and project documents in accordance with the project field procedures and site instructions.

•Ensure by leadership and guidance that HVAC contracted works meet all practical, commercial, requirements of productivity, quality, and contract target completions.

•Routinely study, check and review all contractor scope as detailed in drawings, specifications, and instructions, ensuring contractors proper interpretation and compliance

•Ensure contractor's dimensional control methods for checking that the works are properly set out and supervise specialist surveying contractors where necessary.

•Ensure Quality inspectors and contractor supervisors carry out the witness, inspection, and surveillance checks in accordance with the Worley Quality Plan and the requirements of the Quality Control Manager.

•Ensure that contractors are working in the required work areas, locations, and elevations and that work sequence and interfaces with other contactors are both coordinated and planned to provide continuous working to meet contract schedules.

•Ensure that all quality control checks and tests are instigated, with records maintained and available.

•Ensure practical security and protection of the works and that all contractors’ provisions for the temporary plant are fit for purpose.

•Ensure that all construction materials, embedded items, special fixtures are approved for use and that they are stored, protected, and available to workforce locations as required.

•Promote and maintain Worley, Customer, and contractor best practice working relationships.


KEY SELECTION CRITERIA

Qualification & Experience:

•A minimum of 10 years experience in an HVAC supervisor(Greenfield) position in the construction of major refineries, petrochemical, or process plants

•Proven experience in a mechanical construction position with a focus on HVAC in Greenfield.

•Recognised trade qualifications in the relevant discipline or equivalent experience

•Competent in the use of relevant software such as MS Office Suite and sound knowledge in relevant software.
