POSITION OBJECTIVE

- The position is responsible to represent the brand by maximizing and contributing to the sales within the store through exceptional customer service and retail experience

- Perform various operational duties such as store maintenance and visual presentation standards as assigned by the store manager / assistant store manager


Key Responsibilities

Customer Service:  

- Greet the customers and assist them in selecting the right product.

- Convert the window shoppers to ultimate buyers.

- Promote the Club Apparel Loyalty Program of the company for repeat sales

- Serve Customers with the highest standards and follow the company guideline of selling ( GUEST – Greet, Understand, Explain, Sell, Thank)

- Must be updated about the various brands of the group for suggestive selling to the customers - Grooming / Attitude / Knowledge

- Must be presentable and well-groomed at all the times

- Flexible to work for extended hours during the Sale period

- Must possess up to date product knowledge and ensure minimal stock loss.

- Flexible to work for extended hours during the Sale period.  

Merchandise:  

- Ensure all stock is laid out and displayed in order to attract customers and also as per standard layout norms

- Ensure all VM guidelines are followed and all Stock Norms on clearance are maintained.

- Record the inventory inward / outward and maintain the report of the same Process 

- Handle the POS (Point of Sale) / Billing Counter efficiently

- Tally  money in the cash till during the beginning / end of the shifts 

- Issue receipts / refunds / change to the customers correctly

- Process the payments by cash / credit cards / vouchers / automatic debits

- Ensure awareness and vigilance at all times of security in the store without any negligence

- Must be flexible to work for varied shifts and overtime as per the business requirement

- Adhere to SOP & Loss Prevention Policies

- Maintain confidentiality of the sales figures to the outside party

Experience & Skills

1. 15 years minimum experience in the Oil & Gas industry, both site and office based with an international consulting

company, EPIC contractor, or Operating company. Possess sound technical knowledge and skills in relevant engineering

2. Ideally a Chartered or similar Professional Engineer.

3. Experience of training and mentoring Graduate Engineers for professional qualifications.

4. Skill/ knowledge of International Standards such as Shell DEPs and/ or QP standards related to relevant engineering

discipline.

5. Possess excellent leadership, presentation, mentoring/ coaching, teamwork and relationship management.

6. Possess excellent communication skills and be fluent in English.

7. Self-motivated and able to organize self to work in a matrix organization with multiple interfaces.

Job Accountabilities:

Provides overall project schedule, progress measurement, and change management expertise to the Project.

Reviews EPC Contractor’s project control procedures (home office and field control procedures) to ensure that Company’s requirements are met.

Reviews project changes to evaluate detail schedule impact; responsible for quantifying and incorporating the effect and impact of approved changes in the overall schedule for stewardship purposes.

Advises Project Controls Head and Project Leadership Team of any potential schedule issues and when necessary, provides guidance on, corrective action and measures to mitigate any adverse trends.

Reviews and checks EPC Contractor’s progress reports for accuracy of progress measurement. Verifies, reviews and endorses claimed progress reported by EPC Contractor.

Reviews and endorses schedule and progress Baselines and forecasts prepared by EPC Contractor.

Analyzes schedule and progress trends reported by EPC Contractor.

Supports PMT with ongoing project schedule and progress analysis, reporting and forecasting activities. Periodically updates project Level 1 schedule to incorporate schedule updates from various EPC packages.

Develops and maintains overall project schedules and ensuring that these products reflect the approved project design/execution scope. Periodically monitors interfaces that are common to multiple EPC packages and liaise with project teams to mitigate any adverse trends.

Responds to ad hoc requests from PMT related to Scheduling and Reporting, including development of progress metrics, and/or key performance indicators.

Ensure PMT and Contractors are working towards the correct priorities and schedules have clear Critical Path & Sub Critical Paths to allow for timely sequenced start-up of the facilities as defined in the Project Management Control Schedule.

Reviews productivity frequently to ensure Contractor can achieve the plan and advises when slippages are seen in Productivity Factor (PF) or Schedule Performance Index (SPI).


Minimum Requirements

Qualifications:

Bachelor degree Business related subject or equivalent experience.

Knowledge and/or Experience:

Minimum of 12 years’ experience in a major project environment within the oil and gas industry, with exposure in planning, cost and risk management including project controls, cost and schedule development.

Experience of working with National Oil Companies or International Oil Companies will be an advantage.


Technical and Business Skills:     

Excellent written and verbal English skills.

Strong planning, organisational and prioritising skills.

Strong negotiating and influencing skills.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Good computer literacy skills (Primavera P6, Word, Excel and PowerPoint).

Hands on working experience in Primavera P6 Version 18 and above.

Good knowledge of using Primavera Schedule Risk Analysis software for conducting Schedule Risk Analysis.

Primary purpose of job

The Geological Advisor at Qatar Petroleum (QP) is part of an integrated team of geoscientists, engineers, and technicians

striving to maximize economic recovery from various offshore reservoirs. Qatar offshore operations are unique within QP,

providing the right candidates with experiences that are currently only available in QP. Using state of the art tools,

geologists construct and maintain static models to characterize our various reservoirs using all available well, seismic and

relevant production data. Geologists are crucial to the new well and development planning process, as they integrate

subsurface data to generate our geologic interpretations. Geologists work with drilling and reservoir engineers to design

horizontal well trajectories that meet project objectives within the various constraints

Experience & Skills

• Minimum Experience: 20+ years of applied geologic experience in the oil and gas industry. Operational experience with

horizontal well planning, geo-steering (preferably with using InterAct software).

• Job specific: 15+ years of applied geologic experience in the oil and gas industry for “Hands on” experience constructing

geologic models (Petrel preferably). Experience with physical and digital geologic database management.

Education

About the role
