Roles and Responsibilities

As Data Engineer, you drive by Data and Analytics products and solution development and deployment. You will lead a team of Junior data engineers and be their single point of contact for technical clarification and impediment resolution.

· Translate business requirements and processes into technical requirement and configuration settings specific to data warehouse and analytics solutions.

· Responsible for understanding the business requirement, identifying/applying right data integration, data cleansing, data quality and master data management tool and technologies to solve problems.

· Develop required ETL/ELT jobs to extract data and establish the relationship between different data elements.

· Design structured, multi-source data solutions to deliver the dashboards and reports that make data actionable.

· Drive the collection of new data and the refinement of existing data sources to continually improve data quality.

· Lead the technical lifecycle of data presentation from data sourcing to transforming into user-facing metrics.

· Ability to work independently as well as on a team and learn from colleagues.

· Should work closely with all team members providing subject matter expertise and solutions to the most challenging software development tasks.

· Coach other team members and the community of chatbot trainers across people operations

Desired Candidate Profile

We are seeking skilled, experienced data engineer to join our bourgeoning Data & Analytics practice and help us build high-quality data products & solutions for our customers.

· 4-8 years of total experience with 5+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering.

· Candidate should have worked on Big data stacks to derive Data Intelligence.

· 4+ years’ experience in data modeling, ETL development, and Data Warehousing.

· Strong experience in SQL and experience with Relational databases like Oracle, Teradata, MS SQL Server, My SQL, etc.

· Good experience is API based data extraction tools and techniques.

· Must be able to clearly understand and articulate a data engineering problem and work on solution independently.

· Experience in Data integration tools like Informatica, SSIS, Talend, etc.

· Knowledge of AWS/Azure product suites including S3, Redshift, Dynamo DB, HDInsight, Azure Databricks etc.

· Experience in Power BI is nice to have.

· Must be able to clearly communicate stakeholder data needs.

· Well-versed with different APIs and API methods.

· Must be willing to work with and learn new technologies.

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is required.

What you'll be doing

Our Senior Project Manager - Digital is responsible for working directly with IT Stakeholders, Business Stakeholders and other Internal/External teams to ensure projects are delivered successfully on time, on budget and with quality using either traditional waterfall or Agile Scrum methodologies.

Your responsibilities

Follow all relevant PMO policies, processes and standard operating procedures so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner

Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects Deliver projects on-time, within scope and within budget, by minimizing and mitigating project risks

Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility Understand customer, business and stakeholder needs, define priorities and propose solutions (scope, dependencies, risks, budget, schedule…etc.).

Ensure resource availability and allocation

Develop a detailed project plan and schedule to track progress

Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs

Orchestrate the test activities on the project to ensure deliverables are of high quality

Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques

Report and escalate to management as needed

Provide detailed, concise and accurate project reporting

Manage the relationship with the business stakeholders, internal resources and external vendors

Perform risk management to minimize project risks

Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors

Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation

Deliver project in both Agile (preferably) Scrum and Waterfall methodologies Participate in relevant projects and community activities as and when needed

What you'll need to succeed

7 years of Project Management experience using both waterfall and agile methodologies Agile(e.g. Scrum) experience is beneficial University Degree in Computing,

Engineering or PMP, PRINCE II, Agile Scrum certifications are a plus

The ideal candidate comes from a Consulting background and has experience working on a digital projects such as E-com, Omnichannel, CRM, Loyalty, etc.

On site experience with clients is a must Retail Industry experience is a must

Proactive with analytical skills with high attention to detail and ownership

Tooling - comfortable with MS Project, experience with JIRA is preferred

Vast knowledge of current/emerging Technical/Digital technologies, software and relevant processes
