Job Purpose
Support Emirates Dubai Experience by proactively developing and managing a network of leisure product and service providers in the sub-region assigned. As a single point of contact for hotel, DMCs and other land suppliers on behalf of Dubai Experience leverage technology to achieve seamless connectivity with hotel partners to drive room night production.

 Job Outline:
- Develop and maintain excellent relationships with key contacts across all assigned suppliers in order to facilitate negotiations and secure the edge over competitors.

- Deliver account management with clear development plans/rolling files for leading hotel companies assigned in each market and supervise the Contracting Executives in the execution of account management.

- Work hand in hand with the -Pproduct team to set and deliver the bed brief and highlight all opportunitiesy throughout the region on an on-going basis.

- Manage the supplier negotiation process at the optimal time (six to twelve months in advance) to ensure that required rates, allocations and release periods are agreed, competitive, finalised, comprehensively loaded and available in accordance with agreed SLAs and briefs with affiliates. Ensure speed to market and differentiation can be maintained. Assume direct accountability for room materialization at the assigned selected hotels. Constantly monitor and manage performance, taking necessary action.

- Support and negotiate alongside the internal customer?s Marketing team to ensure maximum contribution from suppliers is being raised for brands? campaigns.

- Maximize commercial return on relationships by ensuring highly competitive brochure contributions and sale overrides are incorporated into the contracting process. Ensure supplier revenue targets are met and if necessary re-negotiated to achieve the best financial gain.

- Oversee site inspections of existing and new properties to ascertain suitability.

- Supervise the loading of rates and information for assigned suppliers into the contracting system, ensuring minimal errors in collaboration with the loading teams and in line with defined quality control standards and service level agreements.

- Ensure the Reservations, Operations and Finance teams are provided with accurate data to complete booking processes and produce accurate customer invoices.

- In collaboration with the businesses? Product teams evaluate market requirements related to the needs of tactical products (i.e. new destinations, weak periods etc.) to support the defined business strategy.

- Support the Product team with the delivery of content, images, product awareness and knowledge.

- Manage CRM accuracy to ensure customer satisfaction and encourage supplier development and partnerships.

- Manage the contract library and control document access to ensure consistent record retention and facilitate the resolution of contract issues to minimise any impact on service disruption. Ensure that reviews are conducted (including legal) in a timely manner.

- Implement the Health and Safety procedures as determined by the Company
Qualifications & Experience
Commercial/Sales.Contract Negotiation : 5+ Years

 Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent) :

 Degree in a business, tourism or sales management subject Experience in the tourism industry with a minimum of 3 years in a Product/Purchasing Manager or Product/Purchasing executive capacity Knowledge/skills: Proven ability to exercise commercial judgement in the selection, negotiation and contracting of tour operators or hotel services. Knowledge of geography and an understanding of the tourism/tour operating industry Demonstrable analytic skills Proven ability to meet production and commercial deadlines Technology literate with an existing international job relevant industry network Excellent written and oral English labguage skills, other languages would be an advantage based on region assigned Other languages besides English: It would be advantageous to be multi-lingual. Your Role:

Role Purpose

 

The position is responsible for timely execution of all marketing activities in the assigned operating assets in line with the overall Marketing Plan and budget.

 

Role Details – Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

 

 

    Work with the Manager Marketing to develop an overall Communications Strategy and “umbrella guidelines” that each centre/destination will embrace. Monitor adherence to these guidelines.
    Interface with the Manager Marketing and assist in developing communication strategies and related activities which promote the centre as a ‘destination of choice’. Ensure that all marketing efforts are aligned with the Annual Marketing Plan, Asset Brand positioning and overall objectives set for each of the operating assets.
    Supervise the implementation of marketing activities as per approved plan set for each destination/ centre and ensure quality and timely execution.
     Manage marketing activities / campaigns for the assigned centre including creative and all marketing collateral required and ensure documentation of each campaign / promotion / activation and analysis of results and retailer’s feedback for post reports.
    Maintain monthly cumulative reports for centre publicity, social media and website monitoring and provide ongoing feedback to Marketing Manager, Mall Management and tenants.
    Develop and maintain an ongoing list of tour operators, cruise operators, hotels, airlines, bus companies, etc., in the region and create a program to target them with the aid of the Tourism Manager.
    Generate of all related paperwork such as L.P.O.s, PARs, etc., for related activities at the centre, in addition to overseeing and coordinating the development and production of any internal / external newsletters, mall magazines, etc.
    Oversee the coordination and production of any in mall multi-media program, monitor content and manage the information in keeping with the overall brand/positioning.
    Work with strategic partners e.g. hotels, L&E brands to ensure that their collateral fits with the brand and that any major brand partnerships are communicated to the consumer effectively.
    Work closely with the Marketing Manager and the Promotions Coordinator to ensure that all retailer offers and activities are communicated effectively in appropriate media platforms.
    Work with the Customer Service coordinator to produce a Customer Service briefing pack on a timely basis outlining promotions, new stores etc. for information.
    Provide all necessary data / reports on a periodic basis pertaining to marketing activities to the Manager Marketing for review, resolutions of issues and prompt decision making.
    Ensure compliance with the MAFP SMBU’s Code of Conduct, Departmental policies and HC Policies and Procedures at all times.
    Be the advocate and ambassador of aligning and cascading the MAFP values across SMBU and ensure that it is adhered to and exhibit the same all the time.

What you will be doing:
