 Key Roles & Responsibilities
•    Formulate and execute strategy, business plans, goals and objectives for the local and international expansion of Milaha Freight Logistics activities
•    Jointly with network partners establish, develop and operate a competitive global freight logistics network and freight forwarding products/services     
•    Create global Milaha Freight Logistics product definitions, value propositions and global strategy in close coordination and synchronisation with other business units
•    Create and implement Freight Logistics business plan, goals and objectives for Milaha in Qatar in line with the global Freight Logistics strategy
•    Drive and develop increased Freight Logistics business through the global network partners and Milaha Commercial organisation in Logistics and M&L.
•    Strengthen customer relations by engagement and developing effective processes/systems for delivering and improving customer service and interaction
•    Drive continuous client needs analysis and develop, implement, improve and expand related services, products, programs and policies
•    Drive continuous improvement of process efficiency, reduction of cost and improved profit through reviews/action plans and structured frequent performance management for employees, suppliers and network partners.
•    Structure and execute on-going performance follow-up to ensure that internal/external goals and objectives are achieved and that all suppliers, network partners and employees deliver to their maximum potential in line with established objectives and in adherence to Milaha standards and goals
•    Lead and supervise timely preparation of quality budgets/forecasts/financial and performance reporting for all Milaha Freight Logistics activities globally and in Qatar specifically
•    Lead, direct, supervise and develop the Freight Logistics organization to deliver to full potential and proactively enable the organisation to adapt, grow and benefit from changes in market and customer needs
•    Drive effective recruiting, onboarding, integration and development of new qualified colleagues to ensure the availability of qualified resources and leadership pipeline
•    Ensure that all job positions are covered by people of adequate skills, experience to maintain safe and efficient operations
•    Act as a coach to subordinates, proactively identify their development needs, establishing development plans and follow-up on these as well as personnel records, timesheets, vacation, leave and absenteeism
•    Ensure all operations/work processes documented and executed in accordance with relevant legal, regulatory and any other standards and requirements to which compliance is required
•    Ensure that all the regulations, policies and standards of health, safety and security are well understood and adhered to by the Logistics department organizations and personnel
•    Support other BU’s and Pillars in offering End-to-End Milaha services and solutions
•    Perform other job-related duties and projects as assigned
Qualifications
 Education & Professional Qualification    
-    Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Marketing, Management, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or related field
Professional Experience    
-    10-15 years’ experience in Logistics/Freight Forwarding, of which at least 10 years in senior management/leadership positions
Geographic Experience    
-    10-15 years of International experience of which at least 3 years in the region
Computer Skills    
-    Good knowledge of MS Office and web applications
Language Skills    
-    Business fluent English is a must
-    Business fluent Arabic is preferred
Market/Industry/Functional Knowledge    
-    Overall knowledge of the transport industry, maritime and logistics
-    Good understanding of international transportation, logistics, supply chain dynamics and practices
-    Good knowledge of commercial aspects of transport and logistics

Job Purpose
Responsible in a shift of two, for the logistic requirements of crew on all cargo flights at outstations.
Job Outline:
- Co-ordinate with external service providers like hotels, transport and catering providers at outstations.
- Proactively identify process issues and rectify.
- Co-ordinate with internal stakeholders like Procurement, Flight Operations, Crewing, Catering, Network Control Centre to ensure smooth logistics for crew.
- Dispatch requisite APIS for cargo flights.
- Produce daily reports of any anomalies and lapses at stations for follow-up and remedial actions.
Qualifications & Experience
Qualifications
Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent) :

Requirements
Minimum 2 years experience in Cargo/Aviation industry with a sound understanding of Cargo procedures and IATA regulations.

Knowledge/Skills
- Good communication skills.
- Problem solving expertise.
- Ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
- Knowledge of MS Office packages, ability to compile reports.
- Strong planning and organisational skills with an eye for details.
