We need a Vice Principal
Job Summary
We are seeking to appoint an outstanding Assistant Principal to join the College. The Assistant Principal position will be a highly rewarding and professionally challenging one and will be a key part of the Senior Leadership Team.
The specific role and responsibilities will be agreed depending on the skills of the successful candidate. Applications are invited from those who are passionate and forward thinking and who will thrive in a vibrant learning environment. The post will involve some teaching and though there is no preferred specialism, the successful candidate will join an experienced and committed staff team. As a member of the Jumeirah College team, you will share in the responsibility for teaching, learning, enrichment and pastoral care and will be someone who can thrive on the challenge.
The successful applicant will be required to have the following:
- A B.Ed. or degree and PGCE / PGDE or equivalent with exceptional subject knowledge.
- Minimum 10 years secondary teaching with significant head of department or head of year experience.
- The ability to demonstrate leadership of a full 3-5-year development cycle encompassing change management from conception through to embedded change and subsequent review.
- Credibility as an outstanding practitioner and leader
