VACANCY INTRODUCTION
ExecuJet Middle East is currently seeking a HR Manager for a position based in Dubai.
JOB PURPOSE
The ideal candidate will support the full scope of Human Resources responsibilities. They will maintain and enhance the organization's human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating human resources policies, programs, and practices.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide regional strategic HR direction to the MANCO team and provide day-to-day operational HR support and guidance to line managers and staff.
Attend weekly/fortnightly management meeting for updates within the various business units.
Conduct HR induction for all new employees including presenting the ExecuJet Way and issuing new staff with the New Employee Handbook.
Act as the first point of contact for managers and employees in the interpretation of HR policies and the UAE Labour Law.
Implement and periodically update the regional HR Policies and Procedures
Prepare all contracts of employment, changes in terms, increase letters, warnings, termination letters etc. for staff as and when required.
Assist line managers with the recruitment and selection of the best candidates to fill all approved vacancies and with recruitment agencies for suitably qualified and experienced external applicants.
Ensure that reference checks for prospective new hires are conducted before an offer of employment is made and that psychometric testing is conducted for Pilot & Manager Positions.
Process monthly payroll, ensuring that all staff are paid on or before the last working day of the month including Overtime reports.
Administer HR software and liaise with supplier for system enhancements as required to fulfil business needs.
Ensure that all staff have comprehensive and up to date job descriptions.
Guide and assist Line Managers in the appropriate handling of performance-related issues including disciplinary hearings and grievances.
Manage and implement ad-hoc projects and HR initiatives.
Calculate and agree final settlements and carry out exit process.
Assist line managers with identifying suitable training courses to address development needs of their staff (non-aircraft related training such as leadership development, supervisory skills, MS Office etc.)
Oversee the Front Office Admin function, ensuring that visitors to the facility are appropriately greeted, the reception and ground floor area is kept clean and tidy and that adequate cover is arranged for leave and lunch breaks.
Recruitment process for all staff including onboarding requirements.
Ensure the employee handbook is kept up to date.
Create and update personnel files for all employees.
Update and administer Cornerstone
Ensure that performance appraisals are carried out by the respective managers on the employee’s anniversary date.
Send reminders to managers for 3-month pre-probation review and 6-month end of probation and prepare the confirmation of employment letter.
Track and Adjust 5,10- and 15-years anniversary leave allowance and send an email notification to the employee and supervisor.
Prepare housing and other staff loan deduction agreements.
Coordinate with the company PRO’s to ensure all staff visas are processed and renewed timeously.
Assume the role of secondary Care-Giver for the Emergency Response Plan.
Understand and ensure compliance with all relevant internal and external rules, regulations and procedures that apply to the conduct of the business in which involved.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Further education in Human Resources
More than 3 years’ experience is a similar role
Up to date knowledge of UAE labour law
Strong recruitment background
Experience of processing payroll would be a distinct advantage
CHARACTER PROFILE
Ability to work independently
Team Player with the ability to lead a team effectively
Attention to detail and good judgement
Good Communication Skills
