We’re looking for Project Engineer in Qatar and the main job function is to lead and utilize the resources provided to deliver allocated work scopes – Lead/Supervise/Manage Aggreko technicians and subcontractors allocated to any of their assigned projects.

What you’ll do:

• Translate customer requirements into appropriate applications / concept designs and liaise with the design team and Subject Matter Experts to produce a suitable engineering pack.
• Preparing engineering standards, designs and specifications.
• Support development of project schedules for engineering deliverables, budgets, and forecasts, monitoring progress against the project plan and taking action to resolve problems and minimize delays.
• Analysis of client system load profiles and electrical plant characteristics to determine sizing of power generation packages.
• May oversee installation, testing and/or commissioning of new solutions.
• Support the project team with selecting materials, equipment, project staff and external contractors.
• Reporting to the Project Manager - responsible for delivering projects / assigned work scopes as delegated by the Project Manager this include.
  • Power & Temperature Control Projects / Scope of Work
  • Internal Programs / Campaigns
  • Lead QHSE Workshops – HAZOP, HAZID, ENVID, OHID
• Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor multiple medium / large complex projects of various scales and sizes.
• Provides Engineering advice to the Commercial team on the technical component of bids

You’ll have the following skills and experience:

• Min 3 years - Supervisory/ Site Lead experience (Customer Facing)
• Relevant and solid technical background
• Design and specification of ‘specialist’ equipment.
• AutoCAD awareness
• Delivery, Installation and Commissioning of Industrial Mechanical/Electrical/HVAC Equipment
• Implementation of on-site QHSE standards
• Confident in managing small to medium size teams directly
• Computer literate – competent user of MS Project / Office software packages
• Interpret Engineering /Technical Drawings (SLO, SLD, P&ID, PFD)
