Location: Fujairah Private Academy, Fujairah United Arab Emirates

Job Type: Full-Time

About Us: Fujairah Private Academy is a small size KG1 – G12 private school founded as a nonprofit organisation. It is dedicated to fostering creativity and artistic expression in our students. We are seeking an imaginative and experienced Art Teacher to join our team and inspire the next generation. The school role is diverse with thee majority of students being Emirati. It is co-educational and an accredited member of the Association of British Schools Overseas and combines the British curriculum with the Arabic subjects of the Ministry of Education.

Responsibilities:

    Develop and implement engaging art curriculum for students of various age groups.
    Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages creativity and self-expression.
    Provide individualized instruction and support to students, helping them develop their artistic skills.
    Organize and oversee art exhibitions, competitions, and other events.
    Collaborate with other teachers and staff to integrate art into the broader curriculum.
    Maintain and manage art supplies and equipment.

Qualifications:

    Bachelor’s degree in art education, Fine Arts, or a related field
    Valid teaching certification.
    Minimum of 3 years of experience teaching art to school age students
    Strong knowledge and expertise in a broad range of art disciplines, including but not limited to:
    Drawing
    Painting
    Sculpture
    Printmaking
    Digital Art
    Photography
    Mixed Media
    Art History
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    Sense of humour
    Ability to inspire and motivate students.
    A positive track record of preparing students for GCSE and GCE A level examinations in the British system and also an interest in teaching the 11-14 year age group.
