Overview of the role:

AFRE -FM manages the properties owned by AF-Real Estate across Residential, Malls and Mixed-use portfolio. This position is for an experienced Project Manager to execute Enhancement and life cycle based replacement projects identified across these properties annually to ensure quality and accountability.

    The average annual  project value is circa AED.30 million.
    To assume responsibility and ensure effective and efficient delivery of Capex & enhancement projects across the AFRE Asset Management Portfolio
    To ensure proper Testing and commissioning and seamless handover of projects from Development teams to Operations team.

 

What you will do:

    Project Management
    New Asset Handover Management.
    Supply Chain Management.
    Service Standards.
    Coordination : Co-ordination with Local Authorities: Coordinate with DEWA, RSB, Civil Defence, and Dubai Municipality as required, Coordination with Stakeholders from Operations: to ensure projects are executed and delivered according to their requirements
    Reporting
    Cost Management.

 

Required skills to be successful:

    Working Knowledge of HVAC, Plumbing and FLS design criteria and installations.
    Working Knowledge of Electrical & ELV systems design and installations.
    Functional Knowledge of Basic civil works & Interior fitouts
    Conversant with Construction standards like ASHRAE, BSRIA, SMACNA, DW144, Plumbing Guides, NFPA and LPCB, DEWA and DM building codes
    Authority approvals from DEWA/DCD/ Municipality/ SIRA etc
    Preparation of Tender documents and budgetary Estimation for MEP & civil enhancement projects,
    Good knowledge of local market & suppliers for procurement of key deliverables.
    Working knowledge of Primavera / MS Projects and other planning software
    Working Knowledge & proven track record of Project Contract management (preferably PMP certified)

 

What Equips you for the role:

Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge:

    University Graduate in electrical or Mechanical discipline.

 

Minimum Experience:
•    10-15 years’ relevant experience in electrical or Mechanical services and in Construction Project management
