Operations Deputy Manager, MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company S.A., Riyadh, KSA

We are searching for an experienced Operations Deputy Manager at our Riyadh facility.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Direct all operational aspects including distribution operations, customer service, logistics,
transshipment and sales.
• Assess local market conditions and identify current and prospective sales opportunities
• Develop forecasts, financial objectives and business plans
• Meet goals and metrics
• Manage budget and allocate funds appropriately, or follow the head office direction in this
regard
• Bring out the best of branch’s personnel by providing training, coaching, development and
motivation
• Locate areas of improvement and propose corrective actions that meet challenges and
leverage growth opportunities.
• Evaluating employee performance and providing feedback and coaching as needed
• Recognizing employee achievements and encouraging excellence in the work environment.
• Share knowledge with other branches and headquarters on effective practices, competitive
intelligence, business opportunities and needs

• Interacting with customers and Brokers on a regular basis to ensure satisfaction and gain
useful feedback.
• Address customer and employee satisfaction issues promptly
• Adhere to high ethical standards, and comply with all regulations/applicable laws
• Network to improve the presence and reputation of the branch and company
• Increasing brand awareness for the company within the community
• Stay abreast of competing markets and provide reports on market movement and
penetration
• Ability to have direct contact and meeting with the local authorities, customs, port
authorities, coast guard and/or any other official government bodies to solve any issues and
problems.
• Follow up with various departments on Geneva’s KPI and ways to archive the targets
• Any other tasks assigned by the direct manager.

Required Qualifications
Qualifications
1. Minimum Qualification
• Bachelor in Maritime Operations is preferred or a bachelor’s degree in related field.
2. Minimum Experience
• A minimum of 4 years’ experience in a similar role
