Accounting Manager - Middle East

Since that time, we are world renowned as the premier industrial bolting solutions company, providing heavy industry with significant enhancements to their overall safety, quality and schedule, by means of unique customized equipment, and world-class customer support.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
·Calculation of commission for sales reps and distributors, verify repair tech commission
·Approve accounts payable invoices for payment and send the file to the UK office for processing
·Enter templates payments at the bank and ensure internal wire processing procedures are followed
·Distribute approved price list, update Opera and distribute changes to sales team
·Ensure values are provided for annual insurance renewal
·Prepare monthly accounting financial template for the USA office – YTD and current month financial results, including actuals versus budget – identify trends – present results to local team
·Ensure inventory is properly valued and maintained – request necessary details from the warehouse
·Prepare letters of credit, work closely with customer service and the bank to organize
·Prepare rental credit reports for sales management – quarterly for agents
·Run credit checks on customers – send information to office manager to determine terms of sale
·Post journal entries at month-end, including accruals, prepaids, depreciation and deferred revenue
·Prepare monthly balance sheet account reconciliations including AR and inventory provisions at YE
·Prepare account analysis, identify errors, reclass as necessary, ensure fluctuations are properly identified on management account templates
·Prepare month-end aging reports of collection activities for every region
·Generate sales report, by customer by product to agree to the GL, including gross profit
Propose system and process improvements for better efficiency, including improvement of collections
Point of contact for annual audit, ensure audits are delivered by end of February timeline
Special projects as assigned
Supervisory Responsibilities:
None
Education/Experience Required:
At least 10+ years experience accounting, manufacturing environment preferred
Exceptional knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required, MBA preferred
