Assignment Description
The LCI Lead is responsible for delivering and managing LCI in alignment with governmental, internal, and external customer requirements, as well as meeting their needs and expectations while ensuring future-proof technology standards. This approach aims to create mutually beneficial outcomes for all stakeholders.
Additionally, the LCI Lead has the authority to engage with any member of the project organization to seek clarification on LCI-related questions. In situations where clarifications or deviations from LCI requirements may have consequences beyond the project's budget and timeframe, the LCI Lead is empowered to seek resolution from the Project Manager.
Set and maintain high-quality standards for all LCI aspects in the project, aligning them with client's LCI requirements, including meeting client specific LCI needs.
Develop LCI plans specific to the project.
Ensure that both client LCI requirements and project - specific LCI requirements are correctly used and effectively communicated to contractors, subcontractors, and equipment suppliers.
Organize and oversee all dedicated LCI personnel working on the project.
Enhance visibility and emphasize the importance of LCI requirements among project team members.
Conduct LCI status meetings to address questions or concerns that arise in the project. Keep track of and report on the LCI status within the project to the Engineering Manager.
Monitor and address LCI-related risks to prevent any deficiencies.
Establish and manage technical requirements for LCI in contracts and participate in contract evaluation processes.
Ensure adequate preparation and organization of data tools and processes for handling LCI registration within the project.
Participate in verification meetings for procurement packages.
Follow up with suppliers to guarantee that LCI items (such as drawings, documents, databases, 3D models, etc.) are established in accordance with project requirements.
Ensure that all LCI components are in place before each purchase order is closed.
Ensure that all LCI components align with LCI delivery milestones.
Maintain close communication with and adhere to guidance and requirements provided by the Senior LCI Engineer.
Collaborate with the Digitalization Engineer, Project Management, and Operations Information Management teams to ensure the necessary integrations are in place and facilitate data population in Alma.
Qualifications
Minimum engineer degree within one or several engineering disciplines that will be used in the project.
Minimum 5 years’ experience within the LCI discipline in oil and gas industry and LCI Lead in projects.
Strong interpersonal skills applied to a multi-disciplined project team.
English – fluent written and verbal skills
Recent relevant experience from Norwegian oil & gas projects
Good verbal and written communication skills, including report writing and presentations.
