Market Director, MENA&Others
Trip.com Dubai is now looking for a Market Director with proven record in sales, account management & revenue management. The primary responsibility of this role is to develop our portfolio of key hotels and chains within Middle East. You will work closely with these key accounts, maximizing opportunities for their portfolio of properties within the region.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
As the Market Director (Accommodation Business Group) at Trip.com Dubai, you will be responsible for:
•Leading a team of market managers, market executives and operations team that are responsible for identifying, acquiring and managing successful hotel partnerships within Middle East.
•Planning and implementing the sales strategy，identify and open up new profitable channels in the industry to ensure a robust GMV and revenue growth, leading the team in the region to achieve/exceed challenging goals.
•Developing and improve business strategy that contributes to greater product performance and internal operational efficiencies, by working closely with both cross functional teams and other Business Units under Trip.com Group
•Conducting market research into trends in the industry and market, promote the Trip.com brand name and its online reservation services to hotels to ensure the competitiveness of Trip.com’s products
•Analyzing and providing feedback on the availability and quality of data, which lead to recommendations for commercial improvements
•Developing and owning relationships with key decision-makers at hotels, technology partners and other relevant partners
•Representing the company at relevant trade-shows, workshops and events to promote the Trip.com brand and products
Requirements
•Bachelor’s degree, MBA or other postgraduate qualification is desirable with at least 10 years of experience in business development/account management in the online travel/hospitality industry
•A thorough understanding of the Middle East market and consumer behaviors in hospitality
•Proven track record of strong leadership and people management skills with an entrepreneurial mind-set
•High level of analytical skills with the capability of presenting in a concise and logical manner
•Demonstrable communication, organization, and negotiation skills
•Highly self-motivated with experience in working in a flexible, fast paced, ever changing, challenging environment
•Fluent in written and spoken English. Can speak Arabic is a plus.
