Responsibilities:
Clean and tidy the reception area and entrance area; for example cloakroom cupboards, reception desks, drawers, coat hungers, coat rails, umbrella holders, incense holders-lights holders, flower vases, side tables, and all the surrounding walls and glasses.
Clean and tidy the entrance area and leading corridors for example banisters, mats, doors, incense holders, heating cupboards, doors, and glasses.
To stock all the necessary stationery for example pens, pencils, papers, white-out tapes, table plans, a stapler, and a hole puncher.
To stock and prepare other items to be used during the shift, for example, cloakroom tickets, reading glasses, business cards, trays, candles, incenses, incense holders, rubbish bags, glass cleaning sprays, and carrier bags.
To update and keep all the necessary folders, for example, the concierge folder, and door host folders.
To read the booking sheet and blocking sheet information in order to get familiar with guests’ names.
To focus on the names and booking times, numbers of guests of large bookings, and important bookings.
To know or figure out the regulars’ preferences or guests marked “special attention” and develop an action plan to satisfy these preferences.
To memorize different sections and table numbers.
To keep records of “lost and found” items.
Skills and Requirements:
At least 2 to 3 years experience as a Hostess in a luxury Restaurant.
Fluent in English, additional language is preferable
