Role Summary:
Responsible for carrying out the Roads & Bridges Development process by coordinating with the Development team, utility providers and all authorities, preparing Requests for Proposal (RFP) for consultants, managing infrastructure design process through to detailed design, preparing the development program and documents required to obtain internal and external approvals, executing agreements with utility providers; coordinating Roads & Bridges planning & design with land use planning, coordinating interface between public domain infrastructure and plot level infrastructure, overseeing tendering and construction of the Roads & Bridges, coordinating with the project delivery team for smooth delivery of Roads, Bridges & Infrastructure elements.

Prepare Roads & Bridges Program
Prepare Briefs For Roads & Infra Consultants And Any Other Technical Consultants Required For Formulation Of Development Brief
Lead The Roads & Bridges Design Process From Concept Design To Detailed Infrastructure Designand Tender Documents
Coordinate Roads & Bridges Design With Roads & Bridges Construction Delivery Team As Required
Lead The Design Approval Process For All Roads, Bridges & Infrastructure Elements
Oversee Roads & Bridges & Infrastructure Cost Planning
Support The Team With Negotiating Contracts For Services
Financial Management Of Roads & Bridges Projects By Monitoring Costs And Budgets Using Financial Management Systems
Required Experience/Background:
Experience In Roads, Bridges And Civil Structural, As Well As In Design Of Tunnels, Underpasses And Other Underground Structures
Extensive Experience In Reviewing Consultants’ Design Work Including Consultant Management Through Pmc Or Client Representative Role On Large Projects In The Gulf Region
Experience In Both Traditional Design Procurement, As Well As Design And Build Projects, Including Tender Evaluations, Contractor Interviews And Advisory Role To Clients On The Preferred Technical Submission
Experience In Managing Multi-Disciplinary Teams On Large Projects To Deliver To Challenging Programs
Minimum 10 Years Of Uae Experience In Roads & Bridges Design, Ksa And Oman Experience Is A Plus
Degree In Civil Engineering Or Bridge Engineering From An Internationally Recognized Engineering University
