WHY THIS JOB EXISTS
To serve the needs of the business, our guests, and our colleagues by ensuring the efficient and safe running of all hotel plants, equipment, air-conditioning, and other systems.
As a member of the Engineering department, this role is responsible for ensuring that all the engineering and maintenance activities of the hotel are conducted to the highest professional standards at all times, with guest comfort and safety being the highest priority.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of everything that needs to be done. Anantara Hotels employees always find new ways to look after the business, their guests, and their colleagues. Within this, the key responsibilities for this position are:
Assign the engineering team according to daily work schedule, to handle planned maintenance and respond to guest requests and emergency situations.

Work with other operational departments to ensure that they have all required engineering support to perform their duties.
Check air conditioning, water, fire safety systems of the hotel and maintain them according to required standards.
Close coordinate with all other departments of the hotel to maintain their equipment in day-to-day operation.
Supervise work of external contractors on behalf of the hotel. Support external inspectors in the execution of their inspections.
