Job Purpose
The job holder will be expected to develop and deliver an effective marketing strategy, utilizing multiple marketing channels to deliver on event, facility, and commercial partner objectives. Explore innovative ways of increasing the local and international awareness of our event/facility to ultimately procure/create additional tenants/event assets (sporting and non-sporting). The job holder will be working closely with senior management, the in house content team, and external agencies.
Qualifications & Experience
Marketing & Media Communication.Advertising : 5+ Years
12 Years schooling or equivalent :
Experience in Marketing & Media Communication Knowledge/skills: - Experience of working with multiple stakeholders in strategic communications environments. - A knowledge and passion for events and event marketing. - Demonstrate an understanding/experience in the development of a brand and insight into how to leverage the evolving marketing landscape and its multiple channels of communication. - Experienced in working with multiple divisions and/or departments. - Exposure to the Media, Advertising industries would be desirable. - Knowledge of performance marketing with the ability to analyze data insights to deliver a comprehensive performance marketing strategy. - A good knowledge and understanding of sport is essential as is the ability to engage stakeholders and meet their needs effectively without compromising the tournaments business standards or position. - Ability to communicate clearly and effectively and efficiently manage all personnel & third parties. - Exceptional communication and presentation skills. - A team player, willing to work in a friendly but fast paced dynamic environment. - Adept at working across multiple projects simultaneously. - Innovative and creative with a strong attention to detail from brief to delivery. - A willingness to listen to feedback and use it to improve. - Have a keen interest in the sports industry, new technology and new applications.
