Valmet Flow Control is a leading provider of flow control solutions, committed to delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring timely delivery of orders. As a Trainee in Customer Service and Logistics, you will play a vital role in expediting orders, preparing shipping documents, coordinating with customers and agents, handling invoices and LC/CAD documents, and ensuring efficient logistics operations.
As a Trainee in Customer Service & Logistics, your day-to-day activities will include:
Order expediting/follow-up with factories: You will closely monitor the progress of orders, communicate with factories to ensure timely production, and provide updates to customers and agents.
Preparation of draft shipping documents: You will be responsible for preparing accurate shipping documents and communicating order readiness to customers, as well as providing shipping instructions to the factory.
Forwarding invoices and supporting documents: You will collaborate with the finance team to ensure timely submission of invoices along with the necessary supporting documents.
Handling Letter of Credit/Cash Against Documents: You will manage LC/CAD documents, ensuring their completeness and submitting them to the bank in a timely manner.
Updating the Shipment log file: You will maintain and update the manual Shipment log file, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records of shipments.
Handling Order Status Discrepancy Report: You will address OSDRs related to material shortages or discrepancies, working closely with internal teams to resolve issues promptly.
Requirements:
You will be responsible for ensuring that packed orders are promptly shipped within one week's time, in adherence to our commitment to timely delivery.
You will work to ensure that orders are delivered to customers on time, fostering customer satisfaction and trust.
