Job Description
AECOM are currently recruiting a Design Manager to be based in our Abu Dhabi Design Studio. The Design Manager will work alongside the senior designers and is ultimately responsible for the delivery of large-scale projects from bidding to delivery.
The Design Manager will assist with the development of the team by supporting the senior management team in the progressive evolution of AECOM's research activities and technical development. You will also be responsible for the design scope and delivery, managing tasks arising from coordination meetings, team leadership (project level), client engagement, managing approvals, design risk management, management sub-consultants (scope & process).
Candidate would ideally have experience in residential, entertainment, retail and hospitality projects, with at least 8-10 years working in either Architecture or Design Management,
Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Design Management or Bachelor of Science in a relevant design discipline
Local Authority Architect registration required
