OB PURPOSE
Assist the Store Operations Manager in handling the day-to-day management of the non-selling functions of the boutique, aiming at delivering maximum operations efficiency and best customer experience. Responsibilities include supervising and animating all activities related to stock and cash management, after-sales, staff training to internal policies and procedures, staff training to systems and organizational projects.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Operations
Supervise all tasks and procedures related to stock management, stock movements and inventory management
Assist the retail teams in all related operational areas such as organization of back of house areas, ordering of packaging and non-sellable items)
Supervise cash management and daily reconciliation process
Supervise after-sales services activities, ensuring process efficiency and high service standards
Supervise security services, cleaning, and maintenance operations
People Management
Supervise and develop a team of Operations Associates, Stock Associates, Cashiers, and After-Sales Specialists
Perform regular staff training and new hire onboarding on internal processes & systems
Intervene during daily store meetings to train or remind the team on subject related to processes, systems, and compliance
Compliance
Be key actor in maintaining a compliant environment, challenging alignment with internal P&P’s and local regulations
Ensure alignment of products labels with system prices, proper documentation, and archiving processes
Led internal control process in coordination with Store Manager and Store Operations Manager
Project Management
Participate to the launch of organizational projects aiming at maximum operational efficiency
Participate to the launch of digital projects aiming at maximum staff adoption
Take the lead in identifying rooms for improvement on organization, systems, and compliance related areas, proposing corrective action plan to store management
PROFIL
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Ability to manage store operations, including shipping/receiving and facilities management effectively
Ability to operate all equipment necessary to perform the job, including POS systems, inventory control systems, phone systems, cash register, and other office equipment
Ability to develop and train workforce, build relationships, utilize skills of workforce most appropriately
Ability to adjust priorities and manage time wisely in a fast-paced environment
Ability to provide outstanding customer service
Ability to maintain a fair, consistent set of standards as they apply to work force
Ability to communicate in a clear, concise, understandable manner
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience with at least 3 years at supervisory level in the luxury retail industry
Strong interpersonal, communication, organization, and follow-through skills
Ability to work a full-time schedule including varies hours/days including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
Physical ability to stand for extended periods, and to move and handle boxes of merchandise and fixtures throughout the store, which entails lifting, and perform all functions as set forth above
Willingness to adhere to all company policies, procedures, regulations, and standards
Availability to travel, as needed
