What you'll do
You’ll love what you do and take pride in delighting our guests:
You will support the IT Manager to ensure that our guests and staff have a seamless and stress free connectivity journey whilst staying at and working within our hotel, to ensure that all guests and staff receive nothing but the best IT experience.
You need to make sure all the Hotel applications and computer networks are working as per the DC standards
To make sure that all the staff and leaders follow all DC IT policies and procedures. You will be responsible for carrying out periodic audits.
You will attend to the Guest complaints as a priority and make sure resolutions are found and acted upon in a timely manner.
A key role will be to monitor all the critical servers and proactively inform the management if any downtime is required for essential or annual maintenance. Such activity should be planned for taking into account all aspects of the business requirements.
Assist in ensuring critical systems, specifically Opera, Symphony, Call Accounting, HSIA, PABX and Food & Beverage Point of Sales computer systems are available twenty-four (24) hours per day.
Hands-on experience in support for Desktop OS and applications including patches.
You will also be responsible to delegate the IT team members to assign day to day IT tasks throughout the IBUs.
Monitor the IT Helpdesk calls and close them on a priority basis before escalating them.
Periodically arrange IT training and awareness programs for the staff within all of our Dubai properties.

You have a talent for problem-solving, and the ability to work independently and on your initiative.
Creative and forward thinking approach to problem resolution and IT progression within our IBUs.
You should have good listening skills to make sure that you completely understand the requirement or request from our guests and staff.
Communication is what keeps our departments running perfectly. You have great communication skills with a strong customer service ethic.
English is the primary language used in our hotel. You can comfortably communicate in this language.
Degree or Diploma in Information Technology. CCNA and Microsoft Certification is desired.
You should have at least 3 years’ experience in a similar capacity in the luxury hotels in the Middle East.
