Job Purpose

Working closely with the GM to develop, implement and manage an effective product development strategy that supports the Emirates Dubai 7s brand and maximise sales both at the festival and year round online.
Develop, implement and manage all merchandise product development specific for the retail range and ensure that the workforce apparel is inline with both brand and operational requirement
Work closely with Official Merchandise Partner to ensure timelines are met for design, sampling and delivery across the three verticals; retail, workforce & sporting apparel, partner servicing.
Job Outline:
- Work with the Official Merchandise partner to design & develop the retail range for the Emirates Dubai 7s 2022. This includes online and retail store range for the 2022 tournament. The Emirates Dubai 7s has a clear goal of delivering innovative, creative lifestyle apparel to support the development of the Emirates Dubai 7s brand.
- Working with the Sports Operations team be responsible for the development and timely delivery of the workforce, volunteer and sporting clothing required for the Emirates Dubai 7s 2022. This includes all clothing required for the ancillary events such as Youth Sports Festival, Long Lunch, Golf Days & Performance. Ensure that all items are ordered, sampled and delivered in a timely fashion for all events.
- Work with the sponsor servicing team to ensure that all orders from partners/sponsors are met and sampled in a timely fashion and adhering to brand guidelines for each partner
- Responsible for order tracking and expense monitoring to ensure timely reconciliation post event.
- Drive the planned development of the online offering with the marketing team. Launching a core range of products for sale via the Emirates Dubai 7s App and website.
- Work closely with the Emirates Dubai 7s content team to give insight, market and inspire sales of the retail range via schedule releases of merchandise content throughout the lead up to the tournament.
- Engage with the Emirates merchandise department to ensure all applications of the Emirates brand in line with the brand guidelines of both the tournament and Emirates CCMB.
- Produce monthly status reports for GM, Head of Sports Ops, Sponsor Servicing and Merchandise Partner.
- Produce end of the tournament reports alongside the Merchandise Partner with advise for 2023.

Qualifications & Experience

Marketing & Media Communication.Other : 8+ Years

 Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent) :

 Experience: Experience in a product development role. Ideally within the Sports and/or lifestyle industry.
Knowledge/skills: The individual should be highly motivated, well organised and have a knowledge of fashion trends for both online and at event, demographics and design ideas. Excellent team player, happy working under pressure with deadlines with strong organisational skills
