 National Sales Manager, Personal Banking- Mashreq Bank


Job Purpose

To develop & execute sales plans, build/leverage key relationships / segments in order to maximize market share of the bank and achieve sales through the direct sales Team Leaders /Sales Managers. To deliver the UAE sales targets for the product managed by driving efficiency in the sales process, coaching manager and leading by example.  


Key Result Areas

To achieve monthly sales targets of various personal banking products by driving the teams & individuals towards their assigned KPIs.

Identify and develop opportunities to maximize penetration in key organizations.

To ensure headcount plan is maintained through the year by managing attrition & timely recruitment of staff.

Ensure SMs & TLs achieves all KPI and KPA standards through the FOS assigned by monitoring phone calls and face-to-face visits besides monthly financial targets.

Identify training needs of the staffs and arrange for appropriate training programs in liaison with MLS.

Maintaining and developing relationships with top management of target market companies & existing customers to enhance the cross sell opportunities.

Acting as an external personal contact between the bank and its existing and potential markets.

Ensure ASM’s/SM’s are conducting micro marketing activities that include Kiosk activities and other direct marketing activities.

Review MIS identify opportunities of growth, sales trends & maintain effective performance management standards.

Ensure TLs & SMs drive participation through all team activities like morning huddles, training and coaching, complete mandatory compliance and fraud trainings, Lean & rewards celebrations.

To keep abreast with the market dynamics and share learnings with Head of sales for areas of Improvement and concerns. 


Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Sales profile that require confidence, persistence, personality and verbal written

Basic knowledge of products, service policies and processes of Retail Banking.

Graduate, preferably MBA in Sales & Marketing with 8-10 years banking sales experience
